Document Management / CAD Walkdown Specialist

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a <b>Document Management / CAD Walkdown Specialist</b> to work in our<b> Deer Park, TX Office. </b>Local candidates preferred - there is no relocation assistance or per diem involved. <br><br>Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required <br><br>Job <b> Description: </b><br><br><ul><li> Meet or exceed company and customer safety standards </li><li> Ability to understand document/drawing information and apply appropriate record keeping and retention </li><li> Is familiar with various Client based EDM systems (Electronic Drawing Management Systems) </li><li> This role will entail the following for the effort of closing legacy project folders for both on-site embedded team as well as external engineering contractors <ul><li> Investigate legacy project folders for current disposition (legacy data may reside in multiple locations) </li><li> Review Issue for Construction (IFC) packages to reconcile what is to be returned versus what was returned </li><li> Determine and validate project files (drawings) in AutoDesk Project Vault, AutoDesk Master Vault (MasterV), Organice for overall alignment </li><li> Interface with Project Managers, Engineering Manager, IEC Leads and/or Designers to determine status of Project (I.E., is the project complete?, did the project get constructed, etc..) </li><li> Ability to understand Lubrizol's MOC process in terms of drawing management; P&IDs and other PSI type drawings </li><li> Based on project status, the following may need to be employed: <ul><li> Files may be ready to promote to MasterV and expose in Organic </li><li> Files may need to be field verified for current field conditions (real in the field) </li><li> Files for field verification will be limited to Process Safety Information (PSI) </li><li> Verification and investigation of current MasterV related files may reveal that merging of drawings may be required prior to promoting to MasterV and exposing in Organice </li><li> Close or Archive project folder and repeat exercise for the next project folder </li></ul></li></ul></li><li> Ability to use AutoDesk AutoCAD for updating attributes, title block clean-up and batch printing </li><li> Read and fully understand Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID's) and other PSI Drawings </li><li> Demonstrates proficient skills in CAD utilizing client's current version of AutoCad and Document Management System </li><li> Demonstrates knowledge of ISA and Piping symbology </li><li> This role will require to field as-built PSI drawings (P&IDs, PFDs, Plot Plans, etc..) per client requirements </li><li> Proficient in identifying in field; mechanical equipment and piping components </li><li> Ability to create, modify and maintain PSI drawings using proper drafting standards and follows Management of Change (MOC) information (MOC redline/comments) and as-built red-line comments </li><li> Maintain cooperative, efficient, and good team working environment with Client personnel, Team Members, external engineering contractors and vendors </li><li> Communicate, both verbally and in written form in a professional manner </li></ul><br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><b>Skills / Qualifications:</b> <br><ul><li> Minimum 3-5 years of Document Control and Document Management experience </li><li> 3+ years proficiency in the utilization of various EDM systems (Electronic Drawing (Document) Management) </li><li> Proficient in the use of AutoDesk AutoCAD 2017 / 2019, Adobe Acrobat Professional and MS products; Word, Excel and Outlook </li><li> 3+ years industrial experience working in; PSI Walkdown/Drafting in chemical/refining industry </li><li> Field experience, able to wear required PPE and drive safely to job-site for verification and as-built of drawings </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
