Responsible for heath and environmental programs to ensure compliance with organizational policies and local, region and federation regulations.<br><br>DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: <br><ul><li>Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions. </li><li>Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.<br>Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job. </li><li>All actions to be compliant to Weatherford's and where appropriate Client Company's Health, Safety & Environmental Policy.</li><li>Identify and appraise conditions which could produce accidents and financial losses and evaluate potential extent of injuries resulting from accidents. </li><li>Conduct or direct research studies to identify hazards and evaluate loss producing potential of given system, operational or process. </li><li>Develop accident-prevention and loss-control systems and programs for incorporation into operational policies of organization. </li><li>Maintain liaison with outside organizations, such as fire department, mutual aid societies, and rescue teams to assure information exchange and mutual assistance. </li><li>Devise methods to evaluate safety program and conduct or direct evaluations. <br>Evaluate technical and scientific publications concerned with safety management and participate in activities of related professional organizations to update knowledge of safety program development. </li><li>Investigate Workers Compensation incidents, reporting and follow up. Coordinate with Corporate Risk Management and Human Resources Department</li><li>Compile analysis and interpret statistical data related to exposure factors concerning occupational illness and accidents and prepare reports.</li><li>Stores and retrieves statistical date, using computer. </li><li>Enter data covering Headcount, Safety meeting and injury reports, etc in the WPTS system. </li><li>Oversees planning, development and implementation of the organization's health, safety and environmental programs with all federal, state and local regulations. <br>Coordinate purchasing of all safety supplies (PPE; First Aid Cabinets, Signage, Fire Extinguishers, etc) </li><li>Chairs, motivates and is responsible for the overall effectiveness of the Safety Committee. </li><li>Trains others as required to ensure all personnel are current in core competencies. <br>Maintain Chemical Inventory and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) </li><li>Reviews and or develops JSA's (Job Safety Analysis), enforces and evaluates effectiveness.</li></ul> <br><br><b> Qualifications </b><br><br>Core HSE education or certification as per RF legislation (i.e. Technospfere Safety)<br>Strong HSE regulations knowledge<br>Industrial Safety RTN certification as committee member is advance<br>ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 or equivalent Internal Auditor training and/or expirience is advance<br>5-10 years experience in HSE preferrably in oil/gas service company<br>Quality Assurance and Quality Control principles understanding, API Q1/Q2 and ISO 9001 knowledge<br>Risks identification and management tools, incident investigation<br>Internal/external audits (ISO, Company Management systems and standards, Vendors)<br><br>Skills<br><br>Advanced in both written and oral English<br>Computer literate & Microsoft Office<br>Good written and communication skills<br>Presentations, programs delivery and town hall planning and execution <br>1C:HSE System for internal processes administration
