<b> Solutions Architect Microgrids</b><br><br><b>Do you like working in collaborative teams and solving critical issues?</b><br><br><b>Join our Baker Hughes Team!</b><br><br>Our Turbomachinery & Process Solutions team provides industry-leading products and services that optimize the extraction, production, and processing of energy.<br><br><b>Partner with the best</b><br><br>The Solutions Architect will work with target external customers, teams in Baker Hughes to define and develop solutions to our customers. This will include representing Baker Hughes in the pre-sales team assisting external customers in the definition and implementation of microgrid solutions as well as seeking technical qualification for Baker Hughes to be providing the solutions. <br><br><b>As a Solutions Architect Microgrids, you will be responsible for:</b><br><br>Finding the best solution among available technology options to put together a winning solution for specific customer needs<br><br>Technically liaise and collaborate with the internal product company application engineers and partner/suppliers to teams to develop such integrated solutions<br><br>Defining features, specifications, and requirements according to which the microgrid solution is designed and delivered to specific customer.<br><br>Identify gaps and improvements in available technology stack to improve and expand microgrid product offerings including identifying potential strategic partners and suppliers to offer differentiated solutions<br><br>Support technical discussions with customers until order win and provide necessary support during project execution<br><br>Continuous market and competition assessment to assess market and technology developments in the microgrids and articulate implications to BH<br><br>Conduct full-form customer discovery workshops for assigned key accounts or identified customers to uncover enterprise opportunities<br><br>Support commercial organization with FEED specification influence to serve as Key Accounts standard buying reference<br><br>Support commercial organization with FEED specification influence to serve as Key Accounts standard buying reference<br><br>Support with select implementation of NPI projects and feeding back services and product line with gained experience to improve product maturity and dissemination of knowledge<br><br>Collaborate with team members in the Business Unit through developing, planning and executing strategic and tactical sales support tasks associated to mapped sales personnel/accounts.<br><br>Support competitive assessment activities and partner with key stakeholders within and outside the Business Unit to develop growth strategies across product offerings with complex and enterprise customers.<br><br><b>To be successful in this role you will:</b><br><br>Minimum of 15 years relevant experience in Power, Industrial and/or Oil & Gas industry.<br><br>Minimum 8 years' experience in technical sales across multiple market segments<br><br>Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline.<br><br>Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in enterprise system solution architecture and design integrating different energy sources in early engagement activities that led to significant business growth<br><br>Ability to balance technical expertise with commercial strategy to foster and build deep relationships with key customers<br><br>Experience in driving a Key NPI to position commercial requirements back to product development team<br><br>Experience selling holistic solutions with hardware, software and service offerings,<br><br>Clearly align complete solution portfolio to customer needs.<br><br>Significant experience in mechanical/electrical/E&IC engineering background preferably in an EPC setup with experience in system integration, defining,<br><br>design and execution of distributed power /microgrid or projects of similar kind<br><br>Exposure to power generation technologies like turbines, engines, hydrogen, fuel cells is added advantage<br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
