<p><b>Overview / Responsibilities </b><br />
<br />
Wood is looking for a Resouricng Team Lead who thrives in a fast paced and high pressure environment to strengthen our team in Portland, Maine.<br />
<br />
Authorization to work lawfuly in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.</p>
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li>Management and administration of direct and indirect reports working locally and remotely, maintaining open and effective lines of communication</li>
<li>Manage people issues in a fair and productive manner; motivate others to strive for excellence and manage the effective allocation of resources to meet business requirements</li>
<li>Deliver operational resourcing strategy in order to attract and engage staff, contract and key strategic hires within defined area of responsibility</li>
<li>Monitor ongoing performance of local suppliers, ensuring optimum service provision and value for money</li>
<li>Expert in local employment legislation, salary trends, the competitive landscape and the external factors that impact the supply of critical talent; understands the impact this has on local resourcing process and employs safeguards in local resourcing strategy to combat this.</li>
<li>Makes best use of resourcing technology and tools to tackle particular resourcing challenges under area of responsibility</li>
<li>Plan and lead local talent attraction campaigns with support from the Talent Attraction Manager and Resourcing Leadership</li>
<li>Proactively seeks the support of resourcing colleagues across the region</li>
<li>Network to source internal talent for key strategic appointments</li>
<li>Accountable for utilizing metrics and reporting KPIs to evaluate team performance and identify opportunities for improvement</li>
<li>Faciliate the effective movement of candidates through the resourcing process, encouraging proactive feedback from Hiring Managers and collaborating with Global Mobility/P&O teams to ensure the timely release of offers and an effective mobilisation process for new hires.</li>
<li>Communicates resourcing and business strategy to local resourcing team(s) to ensure the alignment of activities in the region and to maximise efficiencies and delivery to the business</li>
<li>Proactively gathers intelligence on the internal and external talent landscape, market trends, availability and mobility of candidate pools.</li>
<li>Work with hiring managers and project managers to develop effective plans to facilitate a proactive approach to resourcing and candidate pipeline</li>
<li>Planning ahead by ensuring that the team is proactive in developing and maintaining a pipeline of suitably qualified and available talent for current and future projects</li>

<li>Prior experience recruiting for environmental and water professionals</li>
<li>Strong presentation skills and proven ability to negotiate and influence leadership internally and externally</li>
<li>Experience of delivering high volume and complex recruitment campaigns</li>
<li>Experience of presenting solutions to customers and working in partnership to deliver to agreed customer requirements</li>
<li>Experience of working with Business Development (tenders and proposals) to enable forward planning and enhance delivery</li>
