Project Accountant

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for <b>Project Accountant </b>to strengthen our team in Dubai. <br><br>Responsibilities: <br><ul><li> Client invoicing in accordance with commercial terms of the contract and strict deadlines. </li><li> Regular monitoring and reporting of Account Receivable and Unbilled </li><li> Timekeeping process support to ensure timely invoicing </li><li> Monthly project accounting in management accounting system in adherence to strict processes and deadlines </li><li> Cost management and analysis </li><li> Project commercial close out support. </li><li> Support detailed project profitability and recovery analysis </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li><b> Technical / Business Skills </b><br><ul><li> Prior management accounting experience involving forecasting, month end deliverables, variance analysis and regular communication to finance management. </li><li> With minimum of 5 years experience in the same position </li></ul><br><b> Interpersonal Skills: </b><br><ul><li> Good self-management and organisational skills </li><li> Strong written and oral communication skills essential for regular interaction with client, project management and project team members </li><li> Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative </li></ul><br> <b> Competencies: </b> <br><ul><li> High proficiency in MS Excel </li><li> Experience with Oracle or similar ERP system </li><li> Exhibit strong integrity and financial responsibility </li></ul><br> <b> Educational Attainments </b> <br><ul><li> Accounting degree preferred with previous experience in similar role. </li></ul></li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
