Acts in the capacity of a lead person.<br><br>DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (not listed in any particular order) <br><ul><li>Inspect parts in-process, finished products, and/or purchased materials for conformance to specifications. </li><li>Observes production operations for conformance to specifications, preparing report of findings. </li><li>Prepares and maintains records and documentation of inspection acceptance, rejection, and/or re-work requirements. </li><li>Set up or adjust and operate inspection equipment to ensure its accuracy. </li><li>Verifies applicable drawings and specifications are the current revision prior to use. </li><li>Verifies that all measuring and test equipment is in current calibration and calibration labels affixed to each piece prior to use. </li><li>Piece part inspection to include dimensional, visual, non-destructive testing and hardness testing as may be required. </li><li>Receiving inspection to include dimensional, visual non-destructive testing and hardness testing as may be required. </li><li>Ability to lead, supervise and provide direction to others. </li><li>Ability to interpret quality control specifications and schematics or drawings. </li><li>Maintain and update calibration database for calibrating equipment </li><li>Coordinate outsource/in-house equipment due for calibration. </li><li>Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level. </li><li>Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford. </li><li>Maintain clean and safe environment. </li><li>Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.</li><li>Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job. </li><li>Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford. </li><li>Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level. </li><li>Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job</li></ul> <br><br><b> Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li>Ability to lead, supervise, direct and set priorities of inspection personnel. </li><li>Ability to establish a teamwork environment. </li><li>Ability to adequately read and interpret machine, weld and assembly drawings and select and accurately use inspection gages/tools. </li><li>Working knowledge of wellhead equipment.</li><li>Three (3) to five (5) years of performing inspection activities as a qualified Inspector. </li><li>Advanced knowledge of inspection processes and documents related to job. </li><li>High School or equivalent preferred. </li><li>Qualifications in non-destructive testing (e.g., MP/LP/UT/RT). </li><li>The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.</li></ul>
