NES Fircroft is currently recruiting for a Quality Coordinator to join our O&G client in Newcastle, and be responsible for arranging & monitoring client / 3rd party inspection activities relating to the manufacturing facility. <br><br>This will be an initial 6 month contract and is replacing a permanent member of staff, so there's a good opportunity this could lead to a staff position.<br><br>Reporting to the Lead Quality Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:<br><br>• Document generation to support on-site client inspection activities<br>• Input information into the inspection Matrix (Hold / Witness Points and NOI Distribution list)<br>• Handle telephone enquires external & internal<br>• Report/feedback issue's to Quality team, Project team<br>• Interface with Customer/Third Party/Certifying Authority Representatives as required, for Project Team activities<br>• Liaises with the Project Managers, Project Engineers, Lead Project Quality Engineer, the Project Quality Engineer, in support of manufacturing inspection activities or issues raised<br>• Ensure client inspectors have been inducted, obtain correct permits<br>• A level of commitment and flexibility is expected<br>• Participate in Quality Engagements<br>• Perform any other duties as directed by the Lead Project Quality Engineer<br>• Raise NCRS when required<br><br>Desired Characteristics<br><br>• Articulate, confident and able to work as part of a team<br>• Flexible attitude and proactive approach coupled with high quality customer service<br>• Ability to use own initiative in prioritizing workload<br>• Problem solving<br>• Ability to perform under pressure to deadlines without compromising standards<br>• First class organizational skills with an emphasis on time management and attention to detail<br>• Ability to work as part of a team and equally as comfortable working alone<br>• Exposure to Primavera P6 would be an advantage but not essential<br /><br />With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil &amp; Gas, Power &amp; Renewables, Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining, Automotive and Chemicals sectors worldwide.With more than 100 offices in 45 countries, we are able to provide our clients with the engineering and technical expertise they need, wherever and whenever it is needed.
