Training and Competency Specialist

<p><b>Overview / Responsibilities </b><br />

Wood is currently looking (EOI) for Training and Competency Specialist candidates for a potential upcoming role.<br />
<br />
The Technical Comptence Specialist will be responsible for:</p>

<ul>
<li>Supporting and assessing Competence Assurance Management Systems</li>
<li>Carrying out Assessment and Verification of portfolios</li>
</ul>

<p><br />
<b>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:</b><br />
<br />
&bull; Assure and support competency delivery within projects<br />
&bull; Carry out assessment and verification of portfolios<br />
&bull; Monitoring standards to ensure compliance with National, Client and Corporate standards<br />
&bull; Advise sites on competence and training issues ensuring consistency of approach<br />
&bull; Carry out Professional Competence Discussions<br />
&bull; Review and update Competence portfolios to ensure validity of plant and equipment<br />
&bull; Liaise and support sites with personnel development matters<br />
&bull; Assist with carrying out onshore/offshore competence assessments<br />
&bull; Provide general advice and support as part of a multi-disciplinary team<br />
<br />
<b>Skills / Qualifications </b><br />
<br />
<b><b>Minimum Qualifications:</b> </b></p>

<ul>
<li>9DI-A1 Assessor or D32/D33</li>
<li>L&amp;D 11-V1 Verifier or working towards or D34</li>
<li>Operations or Maintenance N/SVQ</li>
</ul>

<p><br />
<b>Minimum Experience:</b></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
<li>Understanding of the Competence &amp; Skills Pool team and its role in Competency Management and compliance</li>
<li>Demonstrable experience in a competence related role</li>
</ul>
