GENERAL ACCOUNTING SECTION HEAD

At <b>Eni</b>, we are looking for a <b>General Accounting Section Head</b> within <b> Zubair Field Operating Division </b> in <b>Basra, Iraq. </b>You will be responsible for guaranteeing the Monthly and the yearend closing the Book with collaboration with All Department and Eni Iraq BV Finance Department, in according with the company's calendar. <br><br><b> As a member of </b> <b>Accounting & Cost Control </b> <b> Team at </b><b> Zubair Field Operating Division </b> <b> you will be responsible for </b> : <br> <ul> <li> Ensuring the management of the Invoice Register on time according to the standards. </li> <li> Ensuring general accounting activities in compliance with requirements, policies and procedures: Posting, Reclassification, Department Managers authorization, financial invoice workflow and MD authorization. </li> <li> Ensuring Monthly Accruals posting and reversal on time. </li> <li> Following up of the Advance payments, Retentions and all Suspense Accounts. </li> <li> Guaranteeing the best account statements for the monthly closing the book </li> <li> Checking the Trial Balance, every 3 months. </li> <li> Checking the Liabilities in Zfod General Ledger: Intercompany Reconciliation Eni Group and Third party (Sample provided by External or Internal Auditors). </li> <li> Participating in SAP process or a new concept in Zfod. </li> <li> Checking the Accounting Archives in Share and physically in archive offices. </li> <li> Answering to external and internal auditors and help eni Iraq BV to auditor requests. </li> <li> Closing his SOX procedure tasks on time. </li> <li> Participating on the on-side training to his local collaborators. </li> <li> Managing his Payable Department inside of Zfod Finance Department. </li> <li> Ensuring that the balance of third parties and Group companies are in line with Accruals and Liabilities. </li> <li> Making sure that the company procedures are well and truly applied according to guidelines and policies. </li> </ul> <br><br><b> This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements </b> : <br> <ul> <li> Previous Work experience in the sector </li> <li> Qualified Accountant </li> <li> Proven Leadership skills </li> <li> Fully IT literate with command on MS Office and SWAP accounting system </li> <li> Effective oral & written communications. </li> <li> Good knowledge of English Language and Arabic </li> </ul> <br><br><b> Location: </b> <br> <br> <b> Basra, Iraq </b> <br> <br> <b> Contract type: Temporary </b> <br> <br> <b> Rotation 28/28 </b> <br><br>At Eni,<b> people are the key to our success</b>, which is why our values are focused on<b> diversity, and lifelong learning</b>. <br> <br> Eni evaluates applications regardless of candidates' personal and cultural characteristics or orientations.
