<p>Quality Inspector<br />Applicants who do not have to right to live and work in the U.K. will not be considered.<br /><br />Join the quality team for a global technology company that designs, develops and manufactures the highest quality, most accurate and reliable customized pressure sensing devices and instruments, software to provide innovative products, services and solutions to our customers.<br /><br />Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities :<br />As our Quality Inspector, you will be responsible to verify product and service requirements are met in accordance to customer specifications and drawings.<br /><br />* Work in accordance to deliver consistent, high quality Inspection across a variety of pressure sensor components and product families.<br />* Operate a variety of Inspection equipment, micrometers, plug gauges, and table-top measuring equipment (FARO, CMM).<br />* The interpretation of manufacturing drawings, customer drawings / source control drawings and written specifications.<br />* The assessment of whether the quality of components produced within the facility meets the required standards.<br />* Work within a team to effectively resolve quality issues and ensure your work is being completed to plan.<br /><br />Key Skills:<br />* NVQ Level 3 or time served engineering apprenticeship, with previous experience with aerospace components is preferable<br />* NPL Level 3 training (desirable) or equivalent<br />* Minimum of 3 years' experience of visual and dimensional inspection within aerospace standards is essential.<br />* Clear and demonstrated understanding of drawing interpretation, calibration, dimensional and visual inspection.<br />* Looking for candidates who are pro-active, self-starter and patient individuals that are capable of managing their time effectively.<br />* AS13001 Supplier Self Release Training (desirable)</p><p>Our role in supporting <b>diversity</b> and <b>inclusion</b><br />As an international workforce business, we are committed to sourcing personnel that reflects the diversity and values of our client base but also that of Orion Group.
