HSE Advisor

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a HSE Advisor with extensive experience in the construction industry. <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Possess a Driver's license and good driving record. </li><li> Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in health, Fire and Safety, safety Industrial Hygiene (IH) and or occupational (OH) training. </li><li> Working knowledge of safety requirements, including OSHA and DOT regulations </li><li> Working knowledge of the oil and gas industry is preferred, but not required </li><li> Frequent travel to various company sites required </li><li> High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Power Point </li><li> Strong organizational and time management skills </li><li> Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish good rapport with personnel, management public and customers </li><li> Must be self-motivated and able to work independently as directed. </li><li> Assist with Incident Investigations and write investigation reports. </li><li> Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE. </li><li> Follow up and assist with New Employee Orientations. </li><li> Be knowledgeable and enforce compliance with Regulatory requirements (i.e. OSHA, EPA, etc.), as well as company HSE policies and procedures. </li><li> Risk/Hazard Assessments as necessary. </li><li> Ability to oversee Hazardous Waste Storage area and ensure regulatory agency compliance i.e. labeling, containment, documentation, etc. </li><li> Ensure we operate in accordance with all applicable environmental policies and regulations. </li><li> Assist with emergency response of spills and medical emergencies. </li><li> Provide first aid treatment as needed.
