<p>Our Client, a top International school in Hong Kong, is looking for qualified expat teachers to join their team. The school currently has 90+ expat teachers and over 120 local teachers. This large international school has 9 different campuses spread across Hong Kong. Established in the 1960’s, this school has grown from strength to strength and provides an excellent environment for both teachers and students. They currently have a number of open positions for Kindergarten and Grade 1 teachers.</p>
<p><strong>Start Date:&nbsp;</strong>August 8^th&nbsp;2022.</p>
<p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>You will work Monday to Friday 8:15am – 4:45pm.</li>
<li>Planning, preparing and delivering lessons using the UK &amp; IB curriculum.</li>
<li>Your day will consist of a 9-12:30am class and a 1-4pm class.</li>
<li>Working alongside a Head Chinese teacher and teaching assistant, you will teach your class of 20 - 30 students.</li>
<li>Create a fun learning environment that encourages participation of students.</li>
<li>Student age will range from 2 – 6.</li>
<li>You will be monitoring student progress and performance.</li>
<li>Assigning, correcting and marking work of your students.</li>
<li>Reviewing and evaluating your own teaching and learning strategies, methodologies and programs.</li>
<li>You will be teaching different age groups and levels so you need to be flexible and well organized.</li>
<li>Dealing with parents on a regular basis and keeping them updated on their child’s progress in the class.</li>
<li>Registering and monitoring students’ attendance.</li>
<li>You will be required to nurture a culture where teachers view themselves as facilitators of learning and reflective practitioners.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Desired Skills and experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>1-3 years teaching experience in an established local or Internationally recognised school.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Education is required.</li>
<li>Degree in another field may be accepted if accompanied by an education postgrad.</li>
<li>Must be hard working with an ability to manage administration and teaching.</li>
<li>Must have a genuine love of children and an ability to create a positive learning environment.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Benefits and Salary:</strong></p>

<li>Monthly salary of 41,000HKD+ (4,000 GBP)</li>
<li>Housing Allowance of 12,000HKD included in the salary.</li>
