Our client, a large Chemicals company, is currently seeking a Performance Management Leader to ideally based out of Charlotte, NC. Open to candidates outside of the area, however this position will require facetime in our clients Charlotte, NC Headquarters. <br> <br> This high-impact role is responsible for enhancing, implementing, and managing organization effectiveness (OE) programs and processes pertaining to talent management, succession planning, leadership development, and performance management.<br> <br> As our client's Performance Management Leader, you play a significant role on the Talent Strategy and Organization Transformation team within Organizational Effectiveness, dedicated to building the future strategy, programs, tools, processes, and frameworks to facilitate the identification, assessment, and development of emerging and established leaders at the company, as well as enabling all employees to experience meaningful career growth and development.<br> <br> The primary scope includes designing a global talent development strategy, transforming talent reviews and performance management, mapping capabilities and needed experiences to roles, enhancing leadership capability to build and develop talent, and advancing global internal mobility. The scope of work includes: identifying talent pipelines, expanding access and visibility to development opportunities, and leading talent management initiatives at the most senior level of the organization.<br> <br> <b>How You Will Spend The Majority Of Your Time</b><ul><li>Developing strategies to continuously improve talent development processes globally, which may include goal setting, talent reviews, career and succession pipelines, and development planning</li><li>Partnering on enabling growth through organizational effectiveness, which may include driving organizational alignment and goal execution, as well as developing workforce capabilities and performance support resources</li><li>Collaborating with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), business leaders, and external strategic partners to deliver talent and performance management programs, processes, and initiatives</li><li>Consulting on organizational effectiveness to business leaders and HR partners across the organization</li><li>Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to understand needs, solve problems, generate analysis and insights, and develop innovative solutions across organizational boundaries</li><li>Leading the development of success profiles and experience maps to ensure robust talent profiles and leadership pipelines</li><li>Leading and/or supporting change initiatives within HR and across the organization, including developing key messages and communication plans</li></ul><b>Capabilities You'll Bring To The Team</b><ul><li>Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas in a simple, straightforward, engaging manner across all levels</li><li>Exceptional organization skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative (e.g., ensuring decisions are made quickly, monitoring progress of initiatives)</li><li>Strong critical thinking (e.g., collaborating with leadership, developing robust 'when, what, how, and who' communication plans, capturing lessons learned)</li><li>Analytical skills (e.g., determining metrics for use in reporting and dashboards, performing ad-hoc analysis of relevant enterprise-wide talent metrics, uncovering and interpreting trends in data, providing insights to support actions)</li><li>Expert guidance and thought leadership (e.g., researching relevant topics to support talent development programs and processes, making formal recommendations)</li></ul><b>Experiences You've Had</b><ul><li>Talent and organization development design & implementation - You will lead the implementation of organization-wide talent programs and consult on developing business unit talent strategies. Success in defining and establishing strategy-aligned performance development includes identifying critical roles, determining capability gaps, managing talent pools, and facilitating long-term plans to bridge gaps.</li><li>Consulting on talent management best practices - You will inform and guide a modern approach using digital tools; you will partner with and influence stakeholders on what is needed to develop and implement optimized talent planning & succession solutions. Success in creating a holistic talent experience will include better integrating our company's performance, succession, and leadership development solutions.</li></ul><b>Preferred Qualifications</b><ul><li>Advanced degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Business Administration or closely related discipline</li><li>Bachelor's degree and 7+ years (OR) Master's degree and 5+ years (OR) Ph.
