Drivers Testing Examiner

Summary CHENEGA FACILITES MANAGEMENT, LLC Ft. Sill, OK The Drivers Testing Examiner is accountable to the Transportation Vehicle Operations Supervisor for accomplishment of his/her duties in accordance with Army and Division policies, procedures, directives, and regulations. Responsibilities Administers driver tests and road tests and issues motor vehicle operator permits. Interviews, counsels, and furnishes guidance to driver applicants; and records, reviews, and evaluates driver records. Requisitions, secures, issues, and administers Army Commercial Driver License computer modules; and prepares and controls use of testing devices and related equipment. Prepares, authenticates, renews, and revokes licenses and maintains records of all permits issued. Checks fire extinguishers on a monthly basis. Monitors test applicants when they are utilizing the computer test module. Other duties as assigned Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent. Must have attended a driver’s education course (High School course will suffice). Minimum of two (2) years experience in drivers testing and licensing is a plus. Must be able to pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) for computer access. Must possess and maintain a current State of Oklahoma commercial Driver’s license (CDL, Class B with “P” (Passenger) and “N” (Tanker) endorsement Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
