General Responsibilities The Talent Acquisition Manager/Specialist – will be a member of the International HR Leadership team and be responsible for developing and owning the Recruiting function, attracting diverse talent to our broad array of mainly European opportunities. The individual in this role will build relationships with internal partners and external organizations to attract diverse talent, as well as stay abreast of current trends in recruitment. They will work with our HR country Leads and their local teams to define, drive and deliver our Talent Acquisition strategy across every functional area within Hertz. Job Contributions- what you will do In this key position, you will: Partner with Country HR Leads to develop robust recruiting strategies that will meet each business unit’s needs. Take the lead on co-ordinating and budget managing all recruitment related activities across the region. Partner with the central reporting team to develop effective quantitative and qualitative KPIs, metrics and reporting. Take responsibility for driving a consistent, end-to-end candidate experience from job posting to pre-employment screening process, onboarding and ongoing employment relationship. Develop strong, trusting relationships, ensuring that talent recruitment and a positive candidate experience are integrated into business processes. Proactively partner with the US TA team to ensure broad alignment on the global talent acquisition strategy Influence direction and manage spend by using market data, insights and experience. Work with Country HR Leads, hiring managers and Organizational Leadership Development team to prepare for expected attrition and develop passive candidate and succession planning pipelines through strategic sourcing networking, referrals, complex internet searches and strategic research in order to address unexpected talent gaps. Attract high-quality, passive corporate candidates while delivering an exceptional recruiting experience Act as a trusted talent sourcing thought leader Maintain your skills by leading your own search assignments in addition to managing the central function. Manage cost through innovative Talent Acquisition solutions Develop trusted relationships with potential candidates and market leaders in order to cultivate a network of high potential Talent Partner with the D&I Lead to develop initiatives around diversity strategy to attract a diverse workforce to Hertz. Partner with the Country HR Leads to develop or support graduate, apprentice and other programmes ensuring a a robust pipeline of candidates Act as Subject matter expert for the development, support and use of our Talent Acquisition technology and platform. Essential Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or equivalent CIPD Qualified Proven experience in sourcing and recruiting talent at a European level with focus on UK & Ireland Proven experience in corporate recruiting Search Firm and Agency relationship management experience a plus Previous branding experience and Employee Value Proposition (EVP) development Social media expertise Strong Stakeholder management and executive presence with the ability to partner and develop relationships internally and externally Financial acumen & strong negotiating skills (contracts, budget, PO process, and billing) Subject matter expertise in Talent Acquisition across corporate functions Experience of scoping, developing, implementing Talent Acquisition Systems Preferred Requirements Experience in developing and implementing a diversity strategy to attract talent Proven, strategic, creative problem-solving skills Metrics-driven thinking that provides direct business impact and is supported through critical thinking skills. Passionate about data and metrics, utilising data oriented and driven decision making. Proven ability to identify and analyze business challenges in order to provide effective recruiting solutions. Skilled expertise in building partnerships through accountability, integrity, establishing trust, and eliminating barriers to success Project management skills This role can be based in Ireland or the UK and can be office based, hybrid or fully remote
