These products span our Production Automation and Software suite, as well as our Drilling, Evaluation, and Intervention suite. The successful candidate will have a track record of working across organizations and products to recommend and develop an architecture and implementation that supports modern methods of communication protocols; networking; data acquisition, storage, access, and sharing; visualization; and analytics involving embedded, on-premise, cloud, and mobile platforms. <br><br><b> Duties and Responsibilities </b> : <br><br><ul><li> Review existing architecture and products and work with other senior technical resources to determine and propose an architecture that will meet both current and future needs related to functionality, scalability, extensibility, reliability, availability, maintainability, security, and performance. </li><li> Review tender documents and provide input and/or responses to specific questions relating to architecture and third-party integrations. </li><li> Participate in technical discussions with internal and external IT organizations, as well as external customers and internal customers, such as Product Management. </li><li> Create artifacts that clearly communicate the architecture to both internal and external stakeholders. </li><li> Work closely with Product Management, Services, Development, and other internal and external customers, to determine needs and identify solutions. </li><li> Provide third-party implementation recommendations for platforms, software, libraries, and cloud technologies. </li><li> Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work closely with technical and product leadership to understand the current and future implementation and requirements. </li><li> Provide guidance as a technical advisor to the organization and management, acting as a bridge for understanding and communication between management and technical resources for key and complex technologies. </li><li> Demonstrate a strong system-level and business-level understanding of problems and possible solutions with the ability to reach consensus. </li><li> Contribute significantly to product road maps. </li><li> Participate in estimation, planning, and identification of risks and issues. </li><li> Participate in addressing and devising solutions to Customer Support and Services related issues. </li><li> Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work closely with internal and external customers to translate needs into requirements, to explain and resolve technical issues, and to present technical solutions. </li><li> Actively engage in process improvements and execution of established processes. </li><li> Understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies. </li><li> Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job. </li></ul><br><br><b> Qualifications </b><br><br><b> Skills & Knowledge: </b><br><br><ul><li> Exceptional knowledge of architectural patterns and frameworks. </li><li> Strong technical leadership and communication skills. </li><li> Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and design appropriate solutions at times with minimum or incomplete input. </li><li> Skillful at driving technical solutions and process adherence within the organizaton. </li><li> IoT/IIoT experience </li><li> Cloud hosting experience </li><li> Experience architecting solutions for analytics, ML, and AI </li><li> Excellent problem solving skills. </li><li> Capacity to multi-task, prioritize, and adapt to change. </li><li> Able to balance technical considerations with business considerations. </li><li> Ability to take direction and work well with others. </li><li> Oil & gas, energy, or industrial experience preferred </li><li> BS Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent required, MS Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent preferred </li></ul>
