Senior Engineer (Structural Inspections)

<p><b>Property Services</b> is a Hampshire County Council<b> in-house team</b> of multi-disciplinary construction professionals and <b>specialist support staff </b>delivering a range of property functions ranging from new build, refurbishments, and extensions through to maintenance and compliance activities. It encompasses the HCC estate and those of our partner organisations and will include schools, offices, libraries, fire stations and police premises.</p>
<p>In this role you will be undertaking the <b>planning and management of the structural inspection programme</b> for a range of County Council buildings and those of our partners. You will also undertake <b>structural inspections, provide inspection reports and prepare works specifications</b> to remediate structural defects for a range of buildings with a variety of construction types including system buildings, concrete and steel framed buildings, historic buildings and modular structures.</p>
<p>The role will require you to undertake <b>audits of structural inspections</b> carried out on behalf of the County Council and its partner organisations and to ensure <b>structural inspections regimes, programmes of remedial works</b> and projects are delivered within the defined risk management framework.</p>
