Quality & Accreditation Manager

<p>Our client is looking for a Quality & Accreditation Manager for a permanent position, located in Lairg</p>

<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>

<p>This position will play a key role within the Technical Department responsible for the management and development of quality aspects of marine and freshwater salmon production.</p>

<p>Reporting to the Operations Manager and working throughout the business alongside colleagues from Technical, Production, Processing, Sales and Finance as well as interfacing with external parties</p>

<p>Main Duties will involve but not be limited to:</p>

<ul>
<li>Carry out quality monitoring as required. This may include, but is not limited to, assessment of downgrades, rigor, temperature and flesh quality</li>
<li>Coordinate the harvesting and transport microbiological testing plan including, but not limited to, the sampling schedule and protocols, laboratory choice, results monitoring and where appropriate, follow-up.</li>
<li>Coordinate the annual HACCP review</li>
<li>Collate and supply Technical information to support the Sales team in completing customer requests, questionnaires, specifications and position statements</li>
<li>Maintain a working knowledge of the relevant processes and records required to ensure compliance with the chosen accreditation schemes. Complete self-assessments as appropriate.</li>
<li>Support the Technical Manager, working with external contractors as appropriate, on the completion of statutory surveys, mapping and other assessments, necessary for maintaining consent compliance and facilitating site developments</li>
<li>Prepare appropriate contributions to the annual budget and monitor its allocation through the year.</li>
</ul>

<p>This is a fulltime position working Monday to Friday, 0830 to 1700, however flexibility for weekend work is essential.</p>
