<div class="mds-edited-text mds-font-body-copy-bulk"><p>A Chief Operating Officer, who has experience within the medical device industry, is needed to join an exciting consultancy who are aiming to be the partner of choice for medical device innovators in ophthalmology. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be tasked with leading a team of high-performing professionals to be efficient, productive, and effective.</p>
<p><b>This is a fully remote working / home working role, however, quarterly travel to the company head office in Strasbourg, France, as well as Global and European medical device conferences will be required</b></p>
<p>With a mission to put the best medical device innovation into the hands of ophthalmologists across Europe, this ground-breaking consultancy develops unique and effective solutions to all client challenges, large or small. Due to rapid growth, they are now seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to collaborate with the President in setting and driving organizational vision and operational strategy.</p>
<p>Working closely with the President the Chief Operating Officer (COO) will develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives. You will utilise your extensive experience within the medical device industry (preferably in Ophthalmology) to translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organisation-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning.</p>
<p><b>To qualify... </b>You could be a Chief Operating Officer / COO / Senior Executive / Vice President of Operations or similar with a CV that demonstrates: </p>
<ul>
<li>Experience in executive leadership positions, preferably in the medical device industry.</li>
<li>Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.</li>
<li>An understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues.</li>
<li>A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.</li>
<li>You are comfortable using state of the art IT solutions for project and team management in a small business environment.</li>
<li>You are solution oriented; and are able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues.</li>
<li>Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, the ability to speak French would be a bonus. </li>
</ul>
