Accounting Manager

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for Accounting Manager. <br><br><ul><li> Management of all accounting entries to ensure they are prepared accurately and in line with corporate deadlines </li><li> Management of invoices to ensure they are prepared in a timely manner and in accordance with the commercial terms of the contract </li><li> Ensure results are accurately reported and analyzed </li><li> Effective management of the accounting team </li><li> Supporting the preparation and management of annual plan and quarterly reforecast in conjunction with Business Management and Finance team </li><li> Responsibility for compliance with Financial management Framework within the individual's sphere of control </li><li> Focus on cash collection, optimization of DSO and minimization of unbilled items together with ensuring these balance sheet areas are appropriately reconciled, analyzed and controlled </li><li> Liaising with external, internal parties and client auditors </li><li> Prepare the tax filing for all direct and indirect tax </li><li> Linkage with business manager and contracts administrator regarding any contractual aspects </li><li> Execution of various ad hoc financial analysis and tasks as and when required </li><li> Manage a team of accountants who perform all back - office accounting functions for clients including reconciliations, bill and expense payment, payroll, and the creation of management reports and financial statements </li><li> Manage and perform month end close from subsidiary ledgers through general ledger and financial statement generation </li><li> Manage and perform account reconciliations and analysis (monthly) </li><li> Review journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting documents, payment document and all accounting related document and other financial transactions for proper accounting </li><li> Prepare / coordinate / assist in the preparation of various reports as requested </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Bachelor's degree in Accounting </li><li> At least 10 years accounting experience </li><li> Excellent communication, computer, organizational and multi - tasking skills. </li><li> People supervision and management skills </li><li> Good knowledge of both direct and indirect tax </li><li> Ability to form and maintain strong working relationships </li><li> Shows willingness to make improvements and shares best practice </li><li> Good communication skills both verbal and written for both Thai and English </li><li> Ability to discuss issues clearly and concisely at all levels within the organization </li><li> High attention to detail and accuracy </li><li> Ability to thrive in a fast - paced setting </li><li> Ability to problem solve, team management, leadership </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
