We actively strive to channel our highly engaged employee’s knowledge, critical thinking, and determination to innovate scalable solutions for our clients.   Responsibilities Creates, maintains, and updates records related to employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, and termination date and reason. Gathers necessary documentation for personnel actions and provides information for payroll and other uses. Assists in the administration and monitoring of the performance appraisal process. May assist with the completion of employment verifications, background investigations, employee action reports, and termination reports. Completes I-9’s for all new hires. Generate reports through various reporting systems and track various human resources actions. Works directly with Program Managers regarding employment management and relations. Responsible for New Employee Orientation and On-boarding by assembling new hire and benefits related materials. May meet one-on-one with new hires to conduct orientation and ensure completion of new hire paperwork package. Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provide information to authorized persons. Assists and manage administrative needs as they relate to HR-related meetings, training, conference room scheduling and set-up when needed. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Assists payroll and operations with timesheet compliance. Works with Chenega Corporate office for human resources related issues as needed. Occasional travel to off-site work locations may be required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field with one (1) to three (3) years’ experience in Human Resources required. Additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of education. Must be familiar with basic employment law. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.), Prior experience working in a multi-state, government contracting environment preferred. Prior experience using ATS/CRM and HRIS experience required. Experience with iCIMS and Deltek CostPoint a plus.
