The job-holder undertakes all accounting requirements within the framework of Company objectives and statutory obligations.</p>
<p>
Preparing financial accounts for Company to tight guidelines</p>
<p>
Ensuring audit clearance is obtained</p>
<p>
Ensuring that the Company financial ledgers are properly maintained and reconciled</p>
<p>
Ensuring compliance with Companies Act, Group norms, UK and IFRS accounting standards</p>
<p>
Preparing Group VAT returns on an accurate basis in accordance with HMRC deadlines</p>
<p>

<p>
MAIN ACTIVITIES:</p>
<p>
</p>
<p>
Undertake the reporting of all corporate financial activity of the holding legal entities of the Company, together with the consolidated reporting of the UK Holding Company.</p>
<p>
Ensures that all reporting complies with legal, SEC and group accounting standards</p>
<p>
Produce UK IFRS statutory accounts and obtain audit clearance from external auditors</p>
<p>
Ensure that the Company financial ledgers are properly maintained and reconciled including management and control of quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations</p>
<p>
Produce reports for audit back up and tax etc</p>
<p>
Produce ad hoc reports as required by the Corporate Reporting and Accounting Leader, Tax Department and others</p>
<p>
Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Group Normes, UK and IFRS accounting standards</p>
<p>
Liaise with Head Office/subsidiaries etc on financial matters</p>
<p>
Provide specialist advice to senior finance management on Accounting standards</p>
<p>
Perform SOX controls and provide evidence where required</p>
<p>
Responsible for the Company's VAT declarations</p>
<p>
Produce on a timely basis the Treasury Tableau de Bord on a monthly basis as requested by Head Office</p>
<p>
Liaise with tax department on VAT issues</p>
<p>
Liaise with HMC&amp;E during VAT audits.</p>

<p>
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:</p>
<p>
</p>
<p>
Qualified accountant with typically 6 years experience with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience</p>
<p>
Awareness/knowledge of systems and applications</p>
<p>
Good knowledge of UK and US IFRS</p>
<p>
Good knowledge of UK taxation</p>
<p>
