<p>Bar S Services, Inc. is seeking an HSE Manager that will be responsible for the on-going development, implementation, and performance of the Environmental Health and Safety Program for the Bar S Services group of companies based in Cheyenne, WY. This program is focused on employee work practice and behavior that results in zero incidents of personnel injury, property damage or negative environmental impact.</p>
<p>This position is in a fast-paced environment that requires a focused safety professional that is an energetic leader and clear communicator and has acquired broad based knowledge in the oil and gas service industry. A solid trucking and DOT background is essential for success in this role as our major service lines include heavy haul, flatbeds, tankers, end, side, and belly dumps as well as hydro-vac units. Verifiable experience in crane, rigging and rig moving safety is also a requirement for this position. The HSE Advisor is responsible for scheduling, conducting and documenting safety inspections, ensuring use of correct PPE, maintaining incident and training records, conduct and document regular safety meetings and employee training, and manage the company safety system.</p>
<p>This position will be primarily field based with office time as needed to complete job requirements.</p>

<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum of five (5) years&
39; experience in oilfield related safety management (rig moving, crane operations, DOT, etc.)</li>
<li>Working knowledge and understanding of HSE management systems</li>
<li>Valid Driver&
39;s License with an acceptable driving record</li>
<li>Ability to write operational and safety policies and procedures</li>
<li>Ability to work on feet observing field operations in extreme weather conditions for long hours in a day</li>
<li>Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.</li>
<li>Ability to climb on structures and/or equipment utilizing ladders and steps as well as appropriate fall protection devices where required</li>
<li>Possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude</li>
<li>Clear written and verbal communicator in English language</li>
<li>Competent in Microsoft office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint</li>
<li>Spanish language ability a plus</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Duties include but are not limited to:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Responsible for oversight of workforce compliance with established safety programs and procedures ensuring that all applicable policies and regulatory requirements are followed</li>
<li>Ensure that all personnel required training certifications are complete, up to date and maintain records and files for every employee, issue certification cards to equipment operators</li>
<li>Conduct on site field safety supervision, analyze performance of personnel, document and maintain records of observations</li>
<li>Coach and mentor field operators and supervisors on safety practices and attitude</li>
<li>Verify that all required daily equipment inspections are performed and records are maintained</li>
<li>Ensure that all CDL drivers comply with of HOS and DOT daily requirements</li>
<li>Conduct monthly safety meetings, document agenda and attendance</li>
<li>Coordinate company authorized training programs, ensure that all participants complete required training</li>
<li>Monitor an effective implementation of updated HSE procedures</li>
<li>Motivate staff to maintain a high level of awareness, knowledge, and preparedness in conducting themselves in the workplace, promote overall professionalism</li>
<li>Perform thorough incident investigations, when necessary, document and maintain records, make necessary reports in a timely manner</li>
<li>Oversee remediation of any environmental spills or damage following all customer, state, and federal regulatory cleanup and reporting requirements</li>
<li>Work with senior management team as an advisor and assist in operations as needed</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Note: Travel is required to locations for training and field visits</strong></p>
