AP Accountant

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS JSC) is currently recruiting for an AP Accountant with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry. <br><br>Responsibilities: <br><ul><li> Verification Subcontractors and suppliers invoices </li><li> Processing invoices in 1S and Oracle </li><li> Prepare AP aging report </li><li> Reconcile payments against invoices </li><li> Properly allocate cost in Accounting system in accordance with Kazakhstan accounting standards and IFRS </li><li> Prepare various accounting reconciliations </li><li> Reconcile AP invoices with suppliers and subcontractors and settle discrepancies </li><li> Keeping all documents accurately filed </li><li> Support various audits </li><li> Participate into accounting month end, yearend closes activity </li><li> Produce various AP reports </li><li> Carry out various ad hock tasks deemed appropriate </li></ul><br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br>Degree in Accounting or Economics <br><br> Knowledge of 1S & MS excel is mandatory <br><br> 3-5 years accounts payable and general accounting experience <br><br> Organizing and prioritizing <br><br> Attention to details and accuracy <br><br> Confidentiality and business ethic <br><br> Good communication skills <br><br> Information management skills <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
