HR Services Specialist - Service Delivery (Japanese speaker)

What will you do? Provide support as a Country HR Operations remotely from Malaysia to Japan employees as well as the Japan HR team. Working closely with the Japan country HR operations & payroll team. Advise & support on matters related to time/attendance/OT and leave systems. Advise on Japan payroll & statutory matters (g., social insurance, national income tax, and local residence tax). Liaise with external vendors on payroll & tax matters. Benefits administration for Japan employees. Craft communications to employees on HR Campaign, new program launches and HR announcements. Advise employees on inquiries & issues through a ticketing system. Consistent management of information on standard operating procedures, HR articles published to employees and HR website content. Continuously thinking of improvement opportunities, maintain operational excellence and adopt consistent and standardized processes. Participate in ad hoc projects and activities as required. What qualifications will make you successful? Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or relevant area of study preferred or equivalent work/internship experience. Proficient in English & Japanese (writing & speaking). Desire to work in HR function, with a keen interest in shared services environment. Be passionate in delivering an exceptional employee experience. Good computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience with any other HR systems for time & attendance or payroll will be an advantage. Demonstrate high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with peers, stakeholders, and Able to work cross functionally, as well as remotely/virtually.
