Wood is currently recruiting for a Validation / Qualification Engineer to be based out of our Melbourne office to work in our Life Sciences business on high profile pharmaceutical projects in Australia and South East Asia. Wood Life Sciences office in Melbourne services a wide variety of technology intensive sectors including biotechnology & pharmaceuticals, laboratories & research facilities, healthcare, advanced education and advanced manufacturing.<br />

This is the opportunity for an energetic and professional Validation / Qualification Engineer to further develop her / his career within our team and strengthen her / his GMP skills by being involved on various exciting and technically challenging pharmaceutical projects.<br />
<br />
<b>Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Undertake Validation and Qualification work</li>
<li>Assist with the preparation and development of Validation Master Plans (VMP), User Requirements Specifications (URS) and Functional Specifications</li>
<li>Assist with the preparation of Installation Qualification Protocols (IQ), Operational Qualification protocols (OQ) and Validation protocols</li>
<li>On site review of contractors&
39; installation and commissioning for compliance</li>
<li>On site execution of IQ/OQ/PQ qualification protocols for facility, utilities and equipment</li>
<li>Liaison with clients on validation / qualification matters</li>
<li>Maintain and apply a working knowledge of relevant GMP codes and regulations</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Skills / Qualifications</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Degree qualified in relevant field of science or engineering</li>
<li>5yrs + experience in validation and compliance in a pharmaceutical or laboratory environment</li>
<li>Good knowledge of the code of GMP and PIC/S code</li>
<li>Proven experience in writing protocols, reports and plans</li>
<li>Proven experience in executing validation and qualification protocols on site</li>
<li>Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, particularly the ability to write technical documentation</li>
<li>Strong commitment to customer satisfaction</li>
</ul>
