We also use applied technology expertise to serve the defense, entertainment, material handling, aerospace, science, and renewable energy industries. <br><br><b> Duties & Responsibilities </b><br><br><b> Purpose </b> <br><br> Instructs classroom and hands-on application of Oceaneering remotely operated vehicle technical theory and operation of electronic and electrical systems, hydraulic systems and sub-systems including component repair, replacement, and maintenance and troubleshooting. <br><br> <b> Functions </b> <br><br> ESSENTIAL<ul> <li> Instructs all aspects of electrical and hydraulic systems associated with Oceaneering remotely operated vehicles, complex subsea tooling, surface and subsea workover systems. </li> <li> Mentors and assess students' ability to troubleshoot ROV control and associated systems. </li> <li> Instructs theory of troubleshooting on fiber-optic components and test equipment. </li> <li> Instructs theory of troubleshooting on hydraulic systems. </li> <li> Instructs proper operation and maintenance of analytical test equipment. </li> <li> Instructs basic ROV piloting to include the use of sub-sea navigational equipment. </li> <li> Establishes and maintains parts and supplies associated with all classrooms and hands on applications associated with instruction and curriculum development. </li> <li> Troubleshoot and repair training aids and equipment. </li> <li> Assists in the development and maintains course curriculum. </li> <li> Travel to overseas training facilities to provide instruction, up to 50%. </li> </ul><br><b> Qualifications </b><br><br><b> Qualifications </b> <br><br> REQUIRED<ul> <li> 4-year degree preferred or 3 years of electrical and electronics experience; hydraulics and or fluid power system experience. </li> <li> Five (3) years industrial related experience. </li> </ul><br><b> Closing Statement </b><br><br>We offer a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to advance in an international company.
