PC Specialist

<p>Job Overview: PC Specialist for Distribution assets within the Downstream/Midstream<br />
Key Accountabilities:<br />
<b>Directly supporting multiple projects with:</b></p>

<ul>
<li>Capital cost forecasting on multiple projects - manage multiple projects (5 to 10) with cost forecasts for services, materials and internal costs</li>
<li>Change management - use change management through PCN&
39;s to control and communicate changes (Cost and Schedule). Keep a PCN register for all projects.</li>
<li>Progress and performance - report progress and performance for all projects in monthly stewardship (use earned value)</li>
<li>Review Project Schedules - Aline schedule to cost forecast and progress.</li>
<li>Monthly stewardship - complete stewardship for supporting projects and communicate to stakeholders.</li>
<li>Contractor PC deliverables - keep contractors accountable for PC deliverables</li>
</ul>

Required Qualifications:</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
<li>Have experience in the Oil and Gas business.</li>
<li>Be a PC Generalist - understand all PC functions (estimating, cost control, scheduling, progress and performance and change management)</li>
<li>Understand systems (SAP etc.)</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.</li>
<li>Understand Earned Value Management</li>
</ul>

Experience and Education: minimum of 8 years experience working as an PC analyst/specialist on Capital projects.<br />
<br />
Skills and Knowledge: Good understanding of Excel. Need to be able to manage multiple contractors and keep them accountable to PC deliverables. Understand SAP and some experience in using the system.<br />

<li>How to read an estimate and be able to cast it out into control budgets.</li>
<li>Develop and manage, in parallel, detailed cost reports for multiple projects.</li>
<li>Understand Change Management and use change management to effectively manage capital costs.</li>
<li>Understand project schedules, how to read them and how they should be aligned with project costs.</li>
<li>Use progress and performance to steward projects.</li>
</ul>
