You will be responsible for identifying process improvement opportunities and leading initiatives from planning stage to its conclusion. To be successful in this position, you will need to have presence on the shop floor, be self-motivated, results-driven and able to efficiently communicate and engage with all levels daily. <br><ul><li> Coordinate efforts associated with planning, procuring, installing, and qualifying new manufacturing processes. </li><li> Perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency. </li><li> Lead/own CPARs (corrective and preventative actions), MOCs (Management of Change) to resolve production and customer issues </li></ul><ul><li> Maintain effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external </li><li> Prepare detailed design proposals for development of new or existing products and technologies. </li><li> By application of mathematical and engineering equations, conduct design analysis, providing documented evidence to confirm the safe performance envelope stated for any given product and/or equipment. </li><li> Perform project management tasks such as developing project plan and costs, developing testing procedures and schedules, co-ordinate with other Engineers, draftsmen, test technicians, purchasing, manufacturing and product line management. </li><li> Prepare reports on the project status and results of the project. </li><li> Prepare and maintain project documentation such as design review minutes, tests reports, design files, project inputs and outputs, and project costs. </li><li> Production and maintenance of engineering drawings for use in the manufacture, assembly and testing of products using CAD systems. </li><li> Responsible for checking manufacturing drawings, design calculations, test reports and design layouts. </li><li> Provide engineering assistance to Quality Assurance and Manufacturing. </li><li> Conduct evaluations and design reviews of new and existing product/equipment designs. </li></ul><br><br><b> Qualifications </b><br><br>REQUIRED <br><ul><li> 5+ years' experience </li><li> Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering </li><li> Proficiency with a CAD 2D and or 3D Modelling Software package. (CREO) </li><li> Familiar with generating manufacturing detailed drawings </li></ul><ul><li> Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to work in a team environment. </li><li> Demonstrate leadership, excellent interpersonal, communications, planning, organizational and team skills </li><li> A hands-on approach to designing experiments, testing processes, troubleshooting, data gathering and analysis </li><li> Ability to work with minimal supervision </li></ul><br> PREFERRED <br><ul><li> Experience in designing mechanical systems from concept to validation testing. </li><li> Previous experience with Progressing Cavity Pump, Positive Displacement Motor and/or Continuous Rod is an asset. </li><li> Familiarity with industrial PLC controls and automation. Hydraulic, electric, and pneumatic experience is an asset. <br><br> </li></ul>
