Quality Manager

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager in our Perth office. Working closely with the APAC Regional Quality Manager and drawing on the resources of the regional and global Wood quality community, your main focus will be to provide corporate governance and Quality leadership for the operations as assigned in Western Australia, as well as support broader initiatives for the APAC region. You will be working closely with the Contract Leadership team members, to deliver both client and Wood operational requirements. <br><br>You will be a motivated self-starter who is capable of leading the operations in their quest for Operational Excellence. You will be able to work autonomously and communicate effectively at all levels of the business. <br><br><b> Responsibilities </b><br><ul><li> Supporting the management of all aspects of Quality across the breadth of their respective organization and the services we provide </li><li> Identification and regular engagement with key stakeholders to promote quality management and gathering feedback on performance </li><li> Support the effective planning and allocation of resources (including people and budgets) enabling delivery of agreed objectives and deliverables </li><li> Implementing the Wood Business Management System (BMS) across their organization ensuring that its application is effective and that compliance with the system is routinely monitored, assessed, and improved as necessary. Facilitate external BMS certification as appropriate </li><li> Ensuring consistent and effective implementation of Quality supporting systems across their organization (e.g., NCR, Progressive learning and Customer satisfaction systems) </li><li> Supporting tenders and proposal activities for their organization </li><li> Planning and execution of risk-based assurance plans including the escalation of significant findings to program/project leaders </li><li> Monitoring and analysis of delivery performance data, regularly reporting themes and trends to senior leaders and undertaking intervention as required </li><li> Gathering and acting upon customer feedback ensuring action is taken to maintain and improve customer satisfaction </li></ul><br> At Wood you will join an inclusive and diverse global community of inquisitive minds and recognised industry innovators, partnering to create new possibilities. <br><br>Join us in the heart of Perth's CBD at Dexus Place - 240 St Georges Terrace, free 24/7 access to an exclusive on-site gym, superb end of trip facilities, coffee machines serving on demand and plenty of spaces to get creative. In addition, you will have access to remote and flexible working options, purchased annual leave and employee discount programs. <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br>Ideally, you will be suitably qualified with a minimum of 10 + years within a relevant industry with demonstrated experience working in a corporate role with experience across all facets of Quality delivery. <br><ul><li> Degree/diploma or local equivalent in Quality management, project management or related discipline (essential) </li><li> Lead Auditor qualification by recognized industry body (essential) </li><li> Membership of CQI/ASQ Quality organizations, Project Management Institute or equivalent (desirable) </li><li> Formal training in recognized root cause analysis techniques (desirable) </li><li> Previous Experience as a Quality manager for a large contract with multiple sites or a regional Quality management position </li><li> Analytical, Problems Solving skills and Systematic thinking </li><li> Comprehensive understanding in industry standards (ISO 9001, ISO 19011 and associated Wood Standards) </li><li> Proficient in the analysis of processes and data </li><li> Proficient in Microsoft Office </li><li> High Level of communication skills in both written and spoked format </li><li> Proficient in the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques </li></ul><br> If you're an experienced Quality professional, then we are keen to hear from you today! <br><br>Shortlisting will commence immediately. <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
