For more information on what we are about as a company, check us out by following the link below: www.e15group.com JOB SUMMARY: The Project Manager position offers a unique opportunity to work on impactful enterprise-wide new developments and post-occupancy projects for a fortune 500 company. The qualified candidate can develop various commercial projects including hospitality, food service, retail, and commercial office (low/mid/high rise) projects from early schematic design concept stage through construction documents, bidding, and construction administration. The Project manager will provide leadership and direction to project teams and be responsible for ushering deliverables through each phase of the project and into the hands of the client, ultimately transitioning the project over to Operations. The project manager will provide leadership and direction to the project team consisting of in house experience and technical designers, to ensure that the program requirements and scopes of work are effectively developed in a timely manner. The qualified candidate will excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, mobile, team-based working environment and will approach each project with a high level of professionalism and strong communication skills. This role will report to the Senior Director of Design and Construction. LOCATION: This job will be based in Seattle, Washington or Chicago, IL. Travel may be required at 25% - 50%. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate scopes of work, workflows, and project management schedules to ensure proper control of projects throughout the various design stages Provide project team coordination for incorporating design intents into design drawings Collaborate and own the creation and execution of end-to-end project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements Proactively communicate project details across all levels of the organization and across multiple departments in a clear and concise manner Coordinate project activities between team members and outside resources while maximizing productivity to achieve project goals Build internal and external business relationships vital to the success of the project Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion Identify, assess and minimize risks throughout the project life cycle Submit project designs to appropriate teams for input and review in a timely manner Conduct design reviews with clients, fellow team members, and other personnel Keep supervisor, fiscal representatives and client routinely informed of design progress, problems and solutions Documentation coordination with consultants (S,M,E,P, lighting, AV, Etc) Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for change; identify flaws in logic or assumption errors and develop and apply best practices; Constantly be seeking improvement. Meeting minutes, File system organization and management of task assignments and internal resources EXPERIENCE: Minimum 7+ years of experience managing design development and construction administration of facilities renovations and new construction Communicating complex ideas to non-technical audiences Using CAD, Revit or similar software to design and communicate plans Lead a project team of design professionals and is affluent in the design and document development process Working knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: • Degree in Interior Design or Architecture and/or 7+ years of relevant experience • Ability to develop and own stakeholder relationships at all levels • Ability to work collaboratively in a consultative role • Persuasive and professional communication skills (presentations, documents, emails) • Knowledge of construction management / project management systems i.e. Procore, Smartsheets, Protrack, Asana, BIM360, Buzzsaw, excel, etc. Food Service and/or Retail knowledge and experience a plus Apply to E15 today!
