<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Massy Wood is recruiting for a Construction Site Inspector with extensive experience in the oil, gas and energy industry. <br><br><ul><li> Implement Health Safety Security and Environment (HSSE) plan requirements during the construction phases of the assigned project(s) per HSSE management policies and guidelines. </li><li> Identify construction site risks or issues and mitigations and flag to Construction Supervisor and/or Construction Manager or Project Manager and ensure worked through to closure. </li><li> Identify interface management risk or issues and mitigations and flag to Construction Supervisor and/or Construction Manager or Project Manager and ensure worked through to closure. </li><li> Provide daily reports of site activities to Construction Supervisor and/or Construction Manager or Project Manager. </li><li> Ensure all relevant site documentation are accurately prepared, reviewed and signed off and stored in Document Management System for archiving and retrieval. </li><li> Participate in weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reviews and meetings with construction contractors to ensure construction contract terms and conditions are achieved for schedule, cost and quality are achieved, ensuring issues are identified and actions tracked to closure. </li><li> Monitor the performance of construction site inspection activities including compliance, and flag issues to the Construction Site Supervisor, Construction Manager and/or Project Manager.Issue timely work permits in compliance to permit to work system and or perform the role of issuing authority or performing authority.Ensure all HSSE incidents during construction activities are notified to the Construction Site Supervisor, Construction Manager and/or Project Manager with less than 24 hours of occurrence. </li><li> Monitor the receipt of materials, issuance to site team, care and custody of materials on site and contract management actions, and flag issues to Construction Supervisor, Construction Manager and/or Project Manager in a timely manner. </li><li> Ensure all construction value of works activities are carried out accurately and goods receipts are inputtedin SAP software in a timely manner for assigned project(s). </li><li> Support equipment procurement activities including technical queries and clarifications. </li><li> Participate in technical reviews of bid tenders. </li><li> Participate in multi-disciplinary reviews. </li><li> Support As-built drawing revision process. </li><li> Comply with Management of Change and Process Safety Management policies and procedures in construction site inspectionactivities. </li><li> Review all proposed and existing construction site inspection activities and assess opportunities for energy efficiency, and reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. </li><li> Any other engineering activities related to the construction site inspection discipline. </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Diploma/Certification in Construction, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering from a recognised institution. </li><li> A minimum of six (6) years' experience in a similar position </li><li> Certification/Training in Quality (must be based on ISO 9001:2008) from a recognised institution. (For example CQE, CQA, CQT or CQI). </li><li> A working knowledge of Construction / Structural / Inspection codes and practices such as API 570, 620 and 650, ASME B31.3, AWS D1.1, API 1104, ASME Section V and IX.
