Focusing on deepwater subsea installations and field developments, the SSR&amp;OPG Engineering group deliver tailored solutions-from the routine to the extreme. We provide fit-for-purpose engineering design through the entire asset lifecycle including decommissioning. From our Norway office we provide engineering support and expertise globally.<br />

<b>Position Summary </b><br />
<br />
As we are looking at an increase in the demand for our products and services, we are searching for candidates that can strengthen our Engineering department in Stavanger, Norway. If you are a creative, motivated team player that is driven by solving complex problems and has an interest in product development, mechanical design, and structural analysis, we are eager to receive your application.<br />
<br />
As a member of our engineering team, you will be taking part in solving new and bespoke subsea problems stretching from smaller fast-paced projects to large scale subsea systems. You will also work closely with our workshop for assembly, testing and qualification of equipment, as well as supporting and developing our existing products and services portfolio. Sporadic offshore travel should be expected. The right candidate can be given the opportunity to participate in projects in other worldwide Oceaneering locations. <b>Duties &amp; Responsibilities </b><br />
<br />
General:</p>

<ul>
<li>Creating concepts and detail designs</li>
<li>Preparing and participating in regular concept design and engineering reviews</li>
<li>Follow-up during manufacturing, assembly, testing and operation</li>
<li>Interfacing with customers, sub suppliers and installation contractors</li>
<li>Writing and reviewing technical documentation and procedures</li>
</ul>

<b>Qualifications </b><br />
<br />
Required:</p>

<ul>
<li>Minimum Bachelor&
39;s degree within engineering</li>
<li>3D CAD and machine drawing experience, ideally Solid Works</li>
<li>Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 years of experience within a relevant engineering discipline</li>
</ul>

<p><br />
Desired:</p>

<ul>
<li>Specific ROV experience is an advantage</li>
<li>Practical experience from hydraulic systems</li>
<li>Structural engineering background</li>
</ul>
