Our client is searching for a Responsible Investment Analyst Intern! This is a 6 month internship based in Westminster, paying £450 per week. About the Company: Our client is an independent investment management company. Their in-house economic, industry and company research allows them to take an independent view and not be led by the market. Their size and specialist nature also means they have the ability to respond quickly and efficiently to any market movements. At the heart of this company is a value (or growth at reasonable value) investor. They combine strategic sector-selection with a fundamental screening process to identify stock opportunities. The company is 100% owned by its directors and employees, which helps to align their interests with their investors. By identifying the right asset classes and niche growth themes in which to invest, and selecting specialist funds that invest in those areas with conviction, this generates the best returns for investors. Their portfolio of work contains over 40 companies from a diverse range of sectors including, but not limited to, retail (Baby Mori, Wolf & Badger, Shot Scope), software (Edge 10, Dragonfly AI, Imagen, Hanzo), food and beverage (Sessions Market, White Rabbit, Barts Pub), healthcare (Thriva, Cera Care, Daye, Doctify) and renewables. The Role: As a Responsible Investment Analyst Intern, you will work directly with the Responsible Investment Analyst, supporting the whole Investment Team. The internship is 6 months with possible transition towards a permanent role. Your responsibilities will include:</p>
<p>Supporting the Responsible Investment Analyst on the collection and analysis of data, including stewardship activity (voting and engagement), ESG data, climate data for both internal and external reporting Carrying out an ongoing exclusion monitoring process Providing support for the compliance requirements and reporting behind the SFDR and SDR regulation Conducting weekly news searches on the latest Responsible Investment news to report to the investment team Researching into Collaborative Engagement opportunities and ESG initiatives Supporting the Responsible Investment Analyst on the completion of corporate reporting initiatives such as the UK Stewardship Code, UN PRI and TCFD Conducting company level CSR/ESG analysis e.g., calculating scope emissions</p>

<p>You are competent with Microsoft Office You have a keen interest in ESG and sustainability You are a team player You are a self-starter who enjoys working independently You have strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently You are self-motivated You have a problem solving and analytical mindset You are educated to degree level with a strong academic background</p>
