Senior People Advisor

Energy Resourcing are currently recruiting a Senior People Advisor to join our ever-expanding team on a contract basis of 8 months </p>

This role can be delivered by hybrid working with regular time working from home balanced and attendance at any of our UK offices (Aberdeen, Glasgow, Stockton, London).</p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Act as the point of accountability, ensuring the provision of timely, accessible, cost-effective, and quality learning solutions for allocated functions</li><li>Design and deliver various employment law training, people manager, and skills development programs, including mentoring, D&amp;I, leadership essentials, performance management, and employment law</li><li>Champion the Talent Identification Process</li><li>Actively contribute to external focus groups ensuring that the client has an influence on industry learning provisions and collaborates in skills for the future initiatives</li><li>Take responsibility for utilising the grant support available to ensure the maximum level of return, benefiting all the client's business units</li><li>Ensure the engagement and advancement of key successors: guiding on individual development plans and recommending tailored programmes that expand personal and professional capabilities and broaden overall experience and skill set</li><li>Evaluate the effectiveness of learning solutions, measuring the impact, and ensuring continuous improvement</li><li>Facilitate internal focus groups and discussions focused on upskilling and reskilling the workforce for emerging roles as the industry adapts to new technologies and ways of working</li><li>Active participation in Talent Management projects from the CoE</li><li>Be a D&amp;I leader and actively participate in associated activities</li></ul><p><b>Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Subject matter expert on key areas of employment law and human resources with the ability to draft engaging content</li><li>Experience understanding of the application of L&amp;D practices in a similar environment</li><li>Confident and experienced at delivering presentations, rolling out learning initiatives, facilitating discussions, and engaging the audience</li><li>Strong commercial awareness</li><li>Strong communication and emotional intelligence skills</li><li>Ability to maximise results through positive proactive risk management and decision making</li><li>Coaching skills</li></ul>
