Cost Controller

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is recruiting for a Cost Controller to join the Project Controls team to support with Cost control for a key client focusing on Energy Transition projects. <br><br>The position will be based in Sunbury; however, we are open to considering Hybrid home / office working on a 3 day Office / 2 day home basis. <br><br><b> Join a culture of innovation </b> , pushing the boundaries of what is possible to seek the best solutions for our clients. <br><br><b> The Role </b><br><br>Working as part of a small team, the Cost Controller will have the responsibility to oversee and manage contractors on behalf of the client. They will also support the Project Controls team, and the wider Finance and Administration (F&A) function with enhanced cost focus. <br><br>The successful candidate will be fundamental in driving change and delivering a cost control service to the client on behalf of our business that focuses on increasing accuracy and integrity of our numbers; supporting operations to achieve efficiency. <br><br>This position is key for the Project Controls team with responsibility for matters relating to activities for operations and strategic objectives, this will include supporting the regional Senior Project Controls Manager (SPCM) with visibility and consistency. <br><br> If you have experience within a project controls function with a particular strength in cost control, enjoy working with multiple stakeholders providing cost control and forecast accuracy and would like to develop your career further by gaining exposure to all areas of project controls within a varied and fast-paced environment then we would love to hear from you! <br><br><b> It's a future for all of us </b> .
