JOB SUMMARY:</p>
<p>
</p>
<p>
The Offshore HSE&A Advisor is responsible for providing expert advice and support to the offshore team, covering all</p>
<p>
disciplines, including Health, Safety, Environment, Process Safety and Integrity, drawing on the support of the onshore HSE&A</p>
<p>
team as appropriate.</p>
<p>
The primary purpose of the role is to promote compliance with all aspects of HSE&A, monitoring the daily performance of the</p>
<p>
asset via worksite visits, providing challenge where necessary, and supporting with the implementation of legal requirements,</p>
<p>
company HSE&A management systems, guidance and best practices as identified in the relevant SEMS interface document.</p>
<p>
The role also acts as support to the client Drilling Supervisors as well as working closely with the Rig Management Team,</p>
<p>
Crew and clientService Personnel, ensuring that the processes required for continual improvement in HSE&A are</p>
<p>
implemented.</p>

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:</p>
<p>
</p>
<p>
Act as a challenge to ensure offshore activities comply with HSE&A related legislative requirements and company</p>
<p>
standards, systems and procedures as identified in the relevant SEMS interface document.</p>
<p>
Promote and support a positive HSE&A culture.</p>
<p>
Promote and support control of risks to health, safety, environment and process safety.</p>
<p>
Promote major accident hazard awareness to the workforce.</p>
<p>
Conduct offshore compliance monitoring on life saving rules, environmental and Well Assurance checklists.</p>
<p>
Participate in asset SEMS inspections.</p>
<p>
Support delivery of agreed HSE&A related projects/initiatives/campaigns as required by the D&C HSE plan.</p>
<p>
Discuss actual and potential HSE events with on and offshore teams and onshore HSE&A team.</p>
<p>
Participate in accident/incident investigation and provide support on Enablon database.</p>
<p>
Participation in periodic rig safety calls and weekly rig and third-party safety meetings.</p>
<p>
Provide training and coaching and deliver HSE&A presentations as required.</p>
<p>
Participation and input into operational risk assessments, tool box talks, permit to work reviews, site inspections,</p>
<p>
behavioural based safety systems and other general rig processes.</p>
<p>
Proactive use of internal and industry incident related information to ensure lessons learned are shared with key</p>
<p>
personnel and any relevant reviews take place.</p>
<p>
Participate and/or witness emergency drills and oil spill response exercises, provide coaching assistance as required.</p>
<p>
Provide end of trip handover; including progress against agreed activities - distribute report to relevant parties.</p>
<p>
Collaboration - Collaborates with others in the team and looks for opportunities to leverage their network and work with</p>
<p>
others to develop safe, practical and effective solutions.</p>
<p>
Continuous Improvement & Innovation - Continuously develops ways of working by seeking feedback from colleagues</p>
<p>
and key stakeholders. Effectively utilises knowledge databases and actively participates in project reviews.</p>
<p>

QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING:</p>

NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent)</p>
<p>
Formal/Industry recognized Incident Investigation Training or Root Cause Analysis</p>

Offshore Survival (BOSIET) and Offshore Medical</p>
<p>
MIST (Minimum Offshore Safety Training)</p>
<p>

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OF THE JOB HOLDER:</p>

<p>
Experience supporting offshore D&C operational activities</p>
<p>
Experience of; incident investigation, audit, monitoring & review of HSE&A Management Systems</p>
<p>
Thorough knowledge of UK HS&E Legislation and supporting Industry Guidance and good practice</p>
<p>
Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills</p>
