Join our team in Mumbai<br><br><b>Job Description Summary </b><br><br>You are responsible for driving test practices in large scale enterprise Product/ organization. This includes designing a product Test Plan, Automation strategy, Nonfunctional Test strategy. You will work with product teams internally and other teams across businesses to ensure outcomes with Quality. You will lead software quality engineering discussions and mentors other junior quality engineers<br><br><b>Job Description Roles and Responsibilities</b> In this role, you will:<br><ul><li>Contribute in driving initiatives such as defining coding standards and processes to ensure quality code is produced.</li><li>Appropriately reuse existing code wherever possible; drives same behaviors across team while coaching other developers to improve their code quality.</li><li>Develop and enhance the test infrastructure and continuous integration framework used across teams at the COE.</li><li>Understand the domain and product use case to determine encompassing test strategy for the product.</li><li>Ensure end to end System testing for industrial enterprise applications can be automated reliably</li><li>Determine testing best practices and principals and promote them across the organization.</li><li>Be an expert in developing and executing maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases.</li><li>Be skilled at developing code for other developers to learn from.</li><li>Be skilled in integrating project testing with continuous-integration process. Work with fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions. Provide functional and technical expertise in bug fixes.</li><li>Act as an expert in the quality engineering, manages test plans and testing methodology for software projects.</li><li>Uses test automation techniques (data driven, pairwise, mocking, test hooks) that fit the problem space. Understands designing and coding for testability to produce quality code with the lowest cost.</li><li>Define test strategy - Functional & Non-Functional (Perf, reliability, load and endurance).</li><li>Define automation strategy and plan for multiple projects.</li><li>Define NFR scenarios, environment and data setup strategies.</li><li>Unblock QA engineers on technical/ timeline/ functional challenges.</li><li>Define and build automation framework for UI, API, mobile and performance testing.</li><li>Expert on libraries/frameworks like Cucumber, TestNG, protractor, Selenium/ Appium.</li><li>Expertise in service mock and stubs.</li><li>Expert in programming languages like Java or JavaScript and/or Python.</li><li>Expertise in API Automation testing using Java http client/ RestAssured</li><li>Exposure to micro services based architecture. &bull; JMeter expertise. &bull; Expertise in Jenkins or similar CICD tool experience &bull; Expertise in Github or similar code repository experience &bull; System testing, performance and reliability testing expertise. &bull; Expertise in micro services based architecture</li></ul><br><br><b>About Us:</b><br> With operations in over 120 countries, we provide better solutions for our customers and richer opportunities for our people.
