<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a Contract HSE Technician with experience in the oil and gas industry. <br><br>The position is to work onshore in Equatorial Guinea, 5 days a week. <br><br>Please note this position is only<b> open to Equatorial Guinea nationals.</b> <br><br><b> Principal Responsibilities: </b><br><br> &bull; Facilitate daily permit to work and JSA activities <br> &bull; Facilitate company PPE program including monitoring of stock and ordering <br> &bull; Performs data entry and recordkeeping for various HSE programs: ie Inspections <br> &bull; Assists in accumulation and reporting of HSE performance metrics <br> &bull; Assists with waste management program duties <br> &bull; Maintains filing system and performs document retention duties <br> &bull; Supports or provides HSE Training program including conducting Spanish sessions <br> &bull; Performs facility inspections and preventative maintenance of HSE Equipment <br> &bull; Plus any other duties that may additionally be required as part of the role as operational requirements change <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><b>Minimum Qualifications:</b> <br><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent, College degree (preferred)</li><li>Some oil and gas or similar industry HSE experience (preferred)</li></ul><br> <b>PC Application Skills:</b> <br><ul><li> IT literate with proficiency in word processing, report writing and delivering presentations </li></ul><br> <b>Personal Attributes:</b> <br><ul><li> Competent in communicating in English language, verbal and written </li><li> Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment alongside other technical disciplines </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
