<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a Learning & Development (L&D) Manager, to lead and deliver the L&D strategy for the Asia Pacific region. Based in Australia or Singapore, the role reports to the Vice President of Learning & Development and will undertake developing business grouping talent and performance development strategies, ensuring that individuals with potential for future roles are identified and prepared for needs of the business. <br><br>In this role you will be an active member of L&D leadership team and regional people & organisation (P&O) teams, working closely and collaboratively with P&O business partners and other leaders across the Asia Pacific region. Ensuring provision of specialist learning and development expertise tailored to identified ongoing and developing business needs, you will provide leadership and functional expertise delivering succession management, leadership, employee and performance development strategies. Other elements of this role: <br><ul><li> Consult with business stakeholders ensuring effective engagement on talent development initiatives </li><li> Act as key member and contributor to relevant Business Grouping P&O Regional Leadership Team </li><li> Contribute to the creation of talent and development strategies, policies, processes, systems and tools through functional reporting </li><li> Provide expert advice and guidance to business grouping leadership and P&O community in all areas related to talent development </li><li> Lead process of identification and development of future bench strength </li><li> Assure development plans are in place for select cohort of high potentials and successors across the business </li><li> Support implementation of performance development philosophy, encouraging conversations supporting performance in current roles and development for career progression </li></ul><br> At Wood you will join an inclusive and diverse global community of inquisitive minds and recognised industry innovators, partnering to create new possibilities. <br><br>Please note that we will only accept applications from citizens of Singapore or Australia, or those who hold existing work rights for this location. <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br>At Wood it takes a diverse range of people to achieve the level of impact we are having on the global energy sector. The quality and expertise of our people is a significant contributor to our outstanding global performance and enduring client relationships. <br><ul><li> Degree qualification or equivalent experience in organisational development, learning, Human Resource management or coaching </li><li> Demonstrated facilitation and presentation skills </li><li> 8+ years of talent management / people development expertise and experienced building, motivating and leading a team </li><li> Effective communication skills, coupled with the ability to develop strong working partnerships and undertake coaching of mid and senior level leaders </li><li> Robust experience in administering, reviewing and debriefing psychometric tools e.g. 360 feedback and personal drivers and behaviours </li><li> Excellent project management skills including the ability to plan, set goals, manage competing priorities, resources, schedule and costs </li><li> Generate trust and credibility with audiences through continuous, open and consistent communication in order to influence behaviour and change </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
