Sector/Organisation Overview This role is in the Pharmaceutical division of Johnson & Johnson and is in JENA Cluster, responsible for the markets in Jordan, Egypt, Libya, Sudan and Ethiopia Summary of the Role: Responsible for driving the change in Signify transformation and system enhancements to support Janssen business and enable delivery of financial targets Providing financial and analytical support to the business stakeholders Business partnering by providing timely & insightful financial knowledge Business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliations Participate on cross-functional work teams Duties & Responsibilities: Business Partnering: Partner with country managers and commercial teams to provide proactive and innovative solutions to achieve business objectives Cost efficiency initiatives, opex control, pricing analysis to facilitate MNI improvement Key finance contact for Jordan, Libya, Sudan, Ethiopia markets Planning & Forecasting: Responsible for complete and accurate opex and headcount planning Support SFA in sales reporting, forecasting and budgeting with comprehensive analysis Effectively partner with the commercial teams to consolidate and analyze the data received for Business Plan purposes Submission of budget cycles in Anaplan Financial Analysis and Reporting: Preparation and analysis of all internal reports on a timely and accurate basis Responds to ad-hoc analysis requests from local & EMEA Track closely the opex spend and drive improvements to opex forecast accuracy, in close collaboration with the commercial organization Prepare business cases and profitability assessments in coordination with commercial teams Prepare monthly and ad hoc analyses and presentations for management Coordinate intercompany charges Headcount reporting and analyses Lead and coordinate master data updates and maintenance Coordinating the month end closing activities with Global Services Technology: Understand the interdependencies among financial systems and ensures accuracy and consistency of data Act as the key stakeholder on system implementation and enhancements within the local organization coordinating the change among key stakeholders Recommend ways to automate or improve current financial reporting processes Compliance: Liaise with the MEWA Compliance Manager to ensure implementation of all policies and procedures Drive a culture of compliance Projects: Provide financial input and insight in various projects, business cases as required Local Finance partner for Scientific Office set-up Qualifications Experience Required Education: University degree in Finance/Accounting, International Finance accreditation is desirable Years of Experience: 3 - 6 years of working experience in Financial planning analysis & budgeting Language: English, Arabic desirable Location: Cairo Technical/Functional Skills Required Experience on system transformations Proven track record of successfully partnering with commercial leaders to drive business performance Proficiency in MS office skills specifically advanced MS Excel knowledge Knowledge of SAP, BW, Anaplan and other Janssen systems will be an advantage Leadership Profile Required Works well under pressure and in stressful, complex conditions with a strong sense of urgency focused to meet tight deadlines Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills Team player, both in Finance and organizational wide Flexible, can do and proactive approach to work Agility, used to changing environments and to quickly adapt and meet new challenges Solution and results oriented Effectively prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and able to work independently and within the team with high level of accuracy Takes “ownership” of the tasks and responsibilities Leadership Behaviors Required LIVE OUR CREDO: Puts the needs of Our Credo stakeholders first, pursues the highest standards of quality, safety, compliance & ethics and Ensures everyday actions contribute to Our Purpose CONNECT: Builds internal and external relationships based on respect, Collaborates openly across boundaries and acts as a team player.
