Required to assist Principal NDT Engineers and SIS Technologist Asst. in day-to-day activities. Preparing equipment, maintenance and QHSE (Oceaneering and Client) documentation. <br><br> <b> Functions </b> <br><br> ESSENTIAL<ul> <li> Perform fitness for service inspections for all topside fixed equipment and piping utilizing state of the art ultrasonic automated and semi-automated techniques including, but not limited to Phased array, corrosion mapping and Time of flight diffraction (ToFD) techniques. </li> <li> Be influential, pro-active, confident, and approachable when attend meetings to present results to the client, either on a one-to-one basis or during an open forum. </li> <li> Issue reports in timely manners that are neat, accurate and concise that allows for essential repairs to be carried out. </li> <li> Be at the forefront of new technology enabling Oceaneering to introduce innovative techniques to the client. </li> <li> Give practical demonstrations and power point presentations to the client. </li> <li> Be able to understand company and client procedures and work packs </li> <li> Perform as a team leader or work individually. </li> <li> Strong organisational skills </li> <li> Competence with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel Projects, and Power Point. </li> <li> Have experience with the SIS equipment that allows for fault finding and rectification </li> <li> Be an interface with equipment suppliers that enable Oceaneering to be part of a user group to retain and improve equipment reliability. </li> <li> Have knowledge of different plant process conditions. </li> <li> Have knowledge of defect mechanisms. </li> <li> Have knowledge of weld repairs. </li> <li> Provide visible, pro-active HS&E leadership. Ensure that incident reporting, task risk assessment and safe methods of work are followed. </li> <li> Follows all required safety procedures while carrying out work. </li> <li> Attends daily Operations safety meetings. </li> <li> Maintain all SIS inspection equipment and ensure calibration is traceable, compliant and within procedure. </li> <li> Have knowledge of all SIS inspection equipment within the department, ensuring it is maintained to a high level. </li> <li> Mentoring and coaching of host country nationals. </li> <li> Supervising of new or trainee technicians while carrying out site work activities. </li> </ul><br>NON-ESSENTIAL<ul> <li> Assist with any other duties as and when required. </li> <li> Undertake specific projects as instructed by management. </li> </ul><br><b> Qualifications </b><br><br><b> Qualifications </b> <br><br> REQUIRED<ul> <li> PCN / CSWIP / level 2 - Ultrasonic Testing. </li> <li> PCN / CSWIP / level 2 - Ultrasonic Testing Guided Wave Inspection. </li> <li> PCN / CSWIP / level 2 - Phased Array - Ultrasonic Inspection </li> <li> PCN / CSWIP / level 2 - Pulsed Eddy Current Inspection </li> <li> Offshore medical, BOSIET / Offshore Survival certification </li> <li> Confined Space Entry training </li> <li> Non-Standard NDT Qualification and Training in various techniques and to hold the appropriate level of certification. </li> </ul><br><b> NOTE: In the Qualification required must hold 2 of the techniques depending on the scope of work. </b> <br><br> DESIRED<ul> <li> HND in an associated Engineering discipline </li> <li> PCN / CSWIP / level 2 - Pulsed Eddy Current Inspection </li> </ul><br><b> Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics </b><ul> <li> Minimum 5 years' experience in corrosion monitoring / mapping. </li> <li> Minimum 5 years' experience in Ultrasonic Testing Guided Wave Inspection in the Oil and Gas Industry. </li> <li> Minimum 5 years' experience in Phased Array inspection in the Oil and Gas Industry utilizing Rope Access. </li> <li> Minimum 3 years' experience in Pulsed Eddy Current inspection in the Oil and Gas Industry. </li> <li> Familiar with QA/QC systems/procedures and NDT techniques. </li> <li> Previous experience of coaching and mentoring. </li> <li> Working knowledge of Microsoft office suits. </li> <li> Gives and receives constructive feedback while coaching and mentoring activities. </li> <li> Ensures that regular consistent communication takes place within the work group. </li> </ul><br><b> Closing Statement </b><br><br>We offer a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to advance in an international company.
