As a Lead Engineer - New Product Introduction, you will work within the Subsea Well Systems Engineering Organization, reporting to the Engineering Manager. You will support requisition projects, and/or NPI/Product Structuring programs in alignment with Product Leader and Project Engineering Manager advice.<br />
<br />
As a Lead Engineer - New Product Introduction, you will be responsible for:</p>

<ul>
<li>Dealing with main industry standards, Engineering/Customer&
39;s specifications governing design of subsea systems (ISO, API, ASME, NACE, DnV, NORSOK, EUROCODE)</li>
<li>Preparing and manage engineering tasks aimed to release engineering parts, drawings, and documentation for the assigned scope of work</li>
<li>Interacting with Project Management, Sourcing, Materials and Manufacturing departments to ensure the required engineering support for realization of optimized product</li>
<li>Ensuring control of the assigned work scope in terms of spent hours, global resource engagement, assignments, budget, cost of poor quality, plans progress</li>
<li>Being the owner for design reviews of the assigned scope, including materials, manufacturing, and product safety/environmental reviews</li>
<li>Developing design concepts and creating 3D models in a CAD environment; creating/reviewing/releasing structural fabrication and machined forging drawings in CREO/IPEM</li>
<li>Creating/reviewing/releasing BOM&
39;s in part data management system (Teamcenter)</li>
<li>Complying with all department initiatives to meet performance and quality goals (On-Time-Delivery, Through-Put Yield, Engineering Change Orders)</li>

To be successful in this role you will:</p>

<ul>
<li>Have a degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)</li>
<li>Have solid experience in mechanical design</li>
<li>Have robust knowledge of geometric and dimensional tolerancing (GD&amp;T), drafting practices and main manufacturing technologies</li>
<li>Have good knowledge of CAD tools and IPEM/TC database</li>
<li>Demonstrate team player attitude and inclusiveness, combined with good communication skills</li>
<li>Demonstrate proactivity and ability to take initiative and make decisions in uncertain changeable environment</li>
<li>Be proficient with English (spoken and written)</li>
<li>Have previous oil and gas, energy technology experience would be and asset</li>
