We help to measure, protect and enhance the things that matter most to them.</p><p></p><p><b>About Risk Management at PwC</b></p><p>Our Risk Management teams give PwC partners and staff readily available, expert and practical advice and solutions to help them do the right thing across a range of professional and regulatory issues.  As a trusted advisor, you’ll work across the firm enabling and protecting our growing and evolving business.</p><p></p><p><b>About the Business Solutions and Operate Risk Management Team </b></p><p>Our diverse and growing team of around 10 people focuses on providing support to the firm’s Business Solutions and Operate teams:</p><p></p><ul><li><p><b>Business Solutions</b> is made up of critical functions that come together as a business-centric and connected community of problem solvers to ensure the smooth running of the firm.  </p></li><li><p><b>Operate</b> is the operational delivery capability of PwC, which helps clients transform and run complex and challenging operational programmes, processes and functions.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>The Business Solutions and Operate Risk Management Team helps colleagues in Business Solutions and Operate to identify, manage and mitigate the risks in their respective areas.  These risks are diverse and arise across a number of areas including the delivery of client engagements, relationships with suppliers (and other third parties), data incidents, people matters and many more.  </p><p></p><p>We work flexibly across multiple locations and alongside subject matter experts from across the firm.  We are active members of the Risk Management and Technologists communities, with regular opportunities to come together for work and socialising. </p><p></p><p><b>The role </b></p><p>As a Senior Associate, you will work with the Business Solutions and Operate Risk Senior Manager(s) and Manager(s), to provide pragmatic risk support and advice across the range of areas affecting the Business Solutions and Operate teams. </p><p></p><p>Your work will include:<br /> </p><ul><li><p>Supporting engagement teams as they consider the risks associated with new client engagements, including client acceptability, the scope of our work and client contracting.</p></li><li><p>Supporting in-flight engagement governance in respect of high risk engagements.</p></li><li><p>Liaising with specialist functions (e.g. Data Protection, Network Information Security and Independence) when their support is required to manage risks relating to their specialist areas.</p></li><li><p>Working with information security experts to resolve data incidents.</p></li><li><p>Supporting Procurement to manage the risks relating to the onboarding of suppliers.</p></li><li><p>Reporting to one of our Managers or Senior Managers, keeping them updated on progress and discussing issues </p></li><li><p>Keeping clear records as you manage each project and preparing document to support decision-making </p></li></ul><p></p><p>This role provides plenty of opportunity for personal success and building new skills, knowledge and networks.
