<p>Saipem is hiring people for an onshore project in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.</p>

<p>Role Description<br />
Mission<br />
- Manage on a project a team of Piping and Layout Draftsmen in order to carry out the Piping and Layout part of the<br />
installations, 3D CAD model and the Piping and Layout construction drawings in accordance with technical, budget and<br />
schedule targets, under responsibility of the project Piping and layout leader or piping engineers<br />
Tasks<br />
Execute the activities within own area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements<br />
Tasks include:<br />
A - Development Technology know how and Commercial support<br />
B - Fea sibility<br />
C - Bidding phase/Commercial proposal development<br />
D - Project Execution<br />
- Design, execute or check the typical Piping and Layout studies including:<br />
- 3D modelling<br />
- 3D model re view with other disciplines and issue of clash check report<br />
- Construction or design drawings using 2D software or extracted from 3D for piping networks (overall plot plan, equipment<br />
layout drawings, piping general arrangement, piping isometrics and piping supports)<br />
- Bill of materials or material take off<br />
- Extraction of bill of materials and other information from the 3D CAD model<br />
- Organize the work of his team and follow-up the planning of the resources mobilisation<br />
- Co-ordinate the work of his team with the Piping and Layout engineers of the project<br />
- Check the input data and all the documents and information issued by his team<br />
- Check permanently that all the assumptions upon which his team work is based keep up with the project development and<br />
warn the project Piping and Layout Lead of any detected anomaly<br />
- Supervise documents updating after comments issued by other disciplines (inter-discipline checks) or external stakeholders<br />
(Client, Yards, Third party review, etc.)<br />
- Feed the Piping and Layout Department improvement system by reverting the lessons learned during the project</p>
