About the Location Hybrid Position: This position may be considered Hybrid based on PetSmart’s FlexSmart policy and business needs. A Hybrid work arrangement is considered to be a blend of onsite and remote work activity. Associates with a Hybrid work arrangement have a work space at Phoenix Home Office and can be required to come onsite between 1-5 days a week as determined by leadership and based on business needs. About the Job SUMMARY The Human Capital Solutions team uses Total Rewards and Talent Management theory to enhance organizational effectiveness across the enterprise. Under moderate supervision, the Sr Human Capital Analyst acts as a contact for the business regarding data analytics. This job is competent in performing complex analytics and designing reports and data stories that drive business decisions and strategies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following): Provides advanced analytical support for Human Capital programs and projects, summarizes and presents data to stakeholders, maintains and enhances regular reporting. Acts as HR point of contact for Human Capital data reporting and analysis which include, but are not limited to: Providing advanced analysis that delivers data stories on the results of employee listening surveys. Providing data analytics and reporting support for PetSmart’s Belonging initiatives and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategic goals. Delivering meaningful data insights and recommendations on various business questions and HR initiatives and strategies. Manages all data sources (including 3rd party information) to ensure credible and accurate fact-based information is used in all program and process development. Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in analytics, data science, finance, mathematics, statistics, HR, or related field and 2-3 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Advanced computer skills, e.g., MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Applications. Experience with query tools, mathematical calculations/interpretation, and advanced analytics/coding skills preferred. High level of analytical ability used in solving complex problems.
