HSE SUPERVISOR

The HSE Specialist will support the goals and programs established by the management team to continually improve through effective management systems implementation. Included in the roles and responsibilities of the HSE Specialist are:<br><br>1. Handle day-to-day medical and clinical evaluation/med check and provide advice to employee<br>2. Manage the sites medical programs (e.g. occupational injury management) and ensure compliance with corporate and legal requirements.<br>3. Manage the sites Occupational Health programs (e.g. hearing conservation, medical surveillance, LEV, etc and ensure compliance with corporate and legal requirements.<br>4. Conduct site inspection periodically as per instruction by HSE Manager<br>5. Manage a team of 1st Aider and coach them to perform first aid treatment<br>6. Play an active role in the emergency response team<br>7. Partnership with customers on site and response to the HSE inquires<br>8. Develop health awareness program to promote employee wellness and healthy lifestyles through organizing of promotional activities and programs.<br>9. Perform self-assessment audit as per assigned by HSE Supervisor<br>10. Facilitate SET committee organization as per SLB standard<br>11. Conduct incident investigation and identify the root causes and Lack of Control<br>12. Perform any other related departmental function as necessarily assigned<br>13. Ensure compliance to health, safety and environment policies.<br><br><b>Minimum Job Qualifications</b><br> General expectations for the HSE Specialist are:<br>1. Holds a professional license with the Malaysian Nursing Board.<br>2. Possess current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (or equivalent) Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic/Advanced Trauma Life Support.<br>3. Post Basic qualification in Occupational Health Nurse would be an advantage.<br>4. Good interpersonal skills &amp; communication skills and be flexible with working hours. CPR and First Aid at workplace Certificate<br>5. AED Certificate<br>6. Proficient in Microsoft Office<br>7. Good presentation skills and versatile in using multi-media<br>8. Computer literate good working knowledge in Microsoft Office Program, Power Point etc
