<p><b>Overview / Responsibilities </b><br />

Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Quality Advisor to form part of our project team in our Melbourne CBD Office on a permanent contract.<br />
<br />
The Senior Quality Advisor will be responsible for:</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
<li>Acting as focal point for implementation of Wood Quality Management System and Contract quality requirements across assigned projects</li>
<li>Providing advice and guidance on the application of the Wood Quality Management System with respect to Client contract requirements to Project Management</li>
<li>Assisting with the roll out and implementation of Continual Improvement initiatives</li>
<li>Monitoring quality performance and providing reports to project team and management of Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities where required</li>

<b>Responsibilities </b></p>

<ul>
<li>Responsible for implementation of Wood Quality Management System requirements across assigned projects.</li>
<li>Ensure the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 are implemented across all activities and the various phases and types of Projects</li>
<li>Provide advice and guidance to Project team personnel on the application of the Quality Management System in relation to Contract requirements and Project Execution activities</li>
<li>Review QA and QC requirements during preparation of proposals including assessing resourcing / manpower budgets and scheduling of QA / QC activities</li>
<li>Preparation, implementation and maintenance of project quality plans, ensuring that all contractual quality requirements are effectively communicated and met</li>
<li>Reviewing, and where required, approval of project specific and supplier procedures, ITPs and documents, to verify that they comply with the contractual requirements. Monitoring of the application of these procedures and documents to verify compliance with the contract</li>
<li>Monitoring and reporting on Supplier and Contractor deliverables and performance</li>
<li>Preparing a program of internal and external Quality audits, focusing on the effective application of the quality management system and compliance to the Project Quality Plan</li>
<li>Reviewing all audit reports to verify that the quality management systems are implemented and are compliant with the Contract</li>
<li>Ensuring Non conformances are properly documented, appropriately investigated and satisfactorily actioned</li>
</ul>

<b>Skills / Qualifications </b></p>

<ul>
<li>Experience in EPC quality role &amp; 8 years&
39; experience in Oil &amp; Gas Industry</li>
<li>In - depth knowledge of working to the requirements of ISO 9001</li>
<li>Continuous Improvement experience</li>
<li>Lead ISO Audit certification advantageous</li>
<li>Good written, communication and leadership skills</li>
<li>Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products</li>
<li>Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of staff and management, both internal and external</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.</li>
<li>Excellent Problem solving - Ability to identify problems, determines possible solution, and actively works to resolve issues</li>
<li>Good Decision making - Knowledge of and ability to use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions and / or reaching conclusions. Ability to act consistent with available facts, constraints and anticipated consequences</li>
<li>Demonstrated strong commitment to safety</li>
<li>Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and oral</li>
</ul>
