HSSE Trainee

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>WOOD has an exciting opportunity for HSSE Trainee to join our team in Brunei. <br><br>Key Aims & Objectives : <br><br><ul><li> Manage daily office operations for the HSSE team. </li><li> Develop reports from data and perform trend analysis (Heart cards and CAIRS) </li><li> Support Wood HSSEA initiatives and programs </li><li> Actively seek improved efficiency for the HSSEA team through systems or processes </li></ul><br><br>Prime Responsibilities & Duties: <br><br><ul><li> Assist the development of new HSSEA policies and procedures to meet corporate and overall Wood needs. </li><li> Participate in incident investigation and root cause analysis processes, and prepare required reports(s) </li><li> Learn and become proficient with HSSEA systems in support of the HSSEA Team's initiatives and programs. </li><li> Prepare safety & environmental system data. </li><li> Provide safety support to HSSEA team. </li><li> Prepare safety meeting material. </li><li> Plan and organize functional meetings. </li><li> Gain knowledge and understanding of applicable legislative, client, and Wood requirements. </li><li> Communicate effectively and regularly with Wood employees in the office and the field. </li><li> Assist with implementation of Wood HSSE programs and initiatives. </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Post - secondary degree or diploma in Safety or any other related field of study preferred. </li><li> Ability to meet deadlines under pressure in a fast - paced environment. </li><li> Excellent time management skills and ability to multi - task and prioritize work. </li><li> An organized person with the ability to highlight appropriate issues on time. </li><li> Self - directed, takes initiative, and ability to perform as part of a team. </li><li> Positive attitude, professional and reliable. </li><li> Good working knowledge in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
