Positions requiring thorough understanding and application of approaches, theories, methodologies and application in a concrete organizational context.<br> <b> Location </b> : Position based in Latam (Rio de Janeiro or Maca&eacute;/Brazil, Mexico or Argentina). <br> <b>Hybrid work </b> (this professional needs to live near Baker Hughes' office) <b>.</b> <br><br><b>As a Lead Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for:</b><br><ul><li>Including both Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development. Includes supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, performance monitoring and proactive supplier improvement, and assisting key suppliers towards industrial standards of excellence. <br></li><li>Understanding of engineering drawings and specifications. and ability to manage vendors, as SQEs have various levels of differentiation; <br></li><li>Collaborating closely with Functional managers regarding supplier related projects, processes and procedures, act as SQ focal point in the region; <br></li><li>Ensuring that performance and quality of products or services conform to BH requirements <br></li><li>Developing and proactively initiates process improvement projects with suppliers to improve quality, delivery, and reduce process variability. <br></li><li>Analyzing and responds to Customer complaint reports, Corrective action reports, and Non- conformance reports as it pertains to supplier condition <br></li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Have Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college;<br></li><li>Have previous experience in Sourcing or similar;<br></li><li>Have experience in Supplier Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance or equivalent;<br></li><li>Be able to communicate both in Portuguese or Spanish (native/ fluent) and English (fluent);<br></li><li>Be able to work from Brazil, M&eacute;xico or Argentina and <b>be ready to travel.</b> <br> <br></li><li>Be Certified as a Lead Auditor ISO 9001 and/or API Q1 (desirable) <br></li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
